Very nice hand studies. Only thing I see right now is the forehead is too big thus making her head appear too oblong.

Man I envy your sketches of faces and hands I defiantly should work more on them. for the digital pieces your getting the feel for some of the photos but the skin tones are a little bland and not in the right color range one of my teachers would talk to me about looking to find the differences in the color ranges in the skin heres Kind of an example Hannns is really good about getting the color in the skin just right http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...6&d=1219090849 hope that helps keep up the studying

Good work! On the blond girl portrait, I think it's not just the forehead, but the entire head structure what should be corrected. Before working on the details, settle down the geneeral structure and make sure it's well proportioned. If necessary, put it on multiply mode over the original picture or even trace it (don't abuse tracing, though).

You're quite good pal! The last sketch is very nice, it would be nice if you put on darker tones. Try increasing the contrast and see what happens.

Demo: Thank you! And yea, I myself get bored watching the colors on my painting, need to work on that asap!

Abrodos: I agree, but I'm not gonna touch on that one anymore, gotta move on! I usually start my digitals with tracing, and then painting, then my teacher suggested I started more on the shadow / light / volume of things.

Mister Dark: Thank you! I will try tweaking it later tonight.

And here's a quick WIP before I go to work, will work a bit more on it tonight.

Hi, looks like you're working hard, so you can probably ignore any comments from me. All the same, you might look to see where you can blend and simplify some areas and edges. Maybe it would help you direct the viewer's attention?

    Anyway, awesome stuff. Keep posting!

@Clean3d: I don't mind, you can comment and criticize all you want! And I do agree with you, just this last week I was having a friendly discussion with my teacher about leaving some areas more "blury" to keep the focus on what's important, I understood what she meant, but creating it is a whole new story!

@cgaddict: Thank you sir! Will do, gonna post some college stuff this week and something more probably.

    Talking shameless post of shame

Thar shall be no dead sketchbooks from me. So I'm raising this one from the dead!
Been awhile since I last posted and I've done a ton of stuff, mostly worthless, so I'll start with some mostly finished ones, enjoy!

The last one is currently WIP.
Tomorrow I'll post some scans from my sketchbook.

Great stuff, really diggin' your line work! Looks like you love drawing those lady faces. Those double page scans are beautiful. Keep hitting that stuff outside your comfort zone but don't stop with the work that you obviously love doing ;D

Didn't had the chance to scan my sketchbook this week, but here's some stuff I've been working on lately:

I like that guy in your avatar, hahaha.
Those pencils are awe-some in the start of your book,
but your digitals aren't far behind either.
    I like the style.
