    robotic portrait artist

I thought this was interesting, anyone else seen this technology?
Seems like robots are being developed for every kind of purpose. Though i can't see how humans could implement creativity in robots

Maybe they should work on developing a robotic cameraman and editor. It would be more watchable.

It's so amazing to see that robots can draw too. Well, with the fast paced technology now I know that this could be possible. Great post interesting.

It so reassuring to find some jobs haven't been completely replaced by robots, like "forum spammer." Nice signature links, assface.

Pretty cool. I wonder if it takes a single image and analyses it or works from realtime footage, and if it works from a stereoscopic camera?

Interesting but I think the novelty will wear off fast enough. The fear of robots replacing artists is as unlikely as CGI replacing actors. Or word processors replacing writers.Sure you can get a nice technical reproduction, but so what? Take a picture and run it through photoshop. Same result.
