Looking pretty good. I'll critique the first one: You've got a good 75% of it done it just has to be brought to a finish. For instance the foreground guy's pants could use some work. Bring in some slight variation of color and reflected light in the shadows. On a day like that there should be cool ambient light in the shadows from the blue light of the sky. And the edges of the folds in are too uniformly hard. Better edge control will give a better illusion of 3D. Also the cast shadow of the guy in the background on the right is too dark. It shouldn't be darker than the guy's in the foreground. Hope it helps! You're almost there just need some fine tuning.

Yea you're right probably, well for sure with the guy in the background, obviously the shadow he casts is darker than the main guy is casting, I didnt notice it before. I ll try to work on it if I have time, thx for comment!

    trrrr

I ve been recently visiting my design area(as I study architecture) and the place occured to look really fantastic! It was an old train station, totally lost in time, nobody there but junkies and wild dogs. I made 2 quick sketches out of it, around 1.5 per each, I hope, or I think I am gonna work on one of them some more to make some dope work finally!

Those are very good paintings, with a whole of potential But you should do them more clearly and confidently.

    Final version

so here we go with the final version of this "unit". I decided to change the position of his legs cos before he looked a bit clumsy and I didnt want him to look like that, and decided to introduce some movement to make it more dynamic.
I wont say drawing in black and white is much shorter or simpler, I actually spent some long hours on this guy, but for sure you can learn a lot out of it, you can simply discover planty of rendering tricks and the way light works. probably there could be some more effort put in this one but decided to finish him already.
PLease c&c and let me know what do you think

    Cheers!

again I was drawing from observation people... Usually I do a part from observtion and than add details just what I have in my mind, that's good practise for both observation & imgination. And some environs from imagination.
