    Storyboards

Hiya, lately I been getting interested in storyboarding... here is my first attempt

I don't see many storyboard type work posted that often...so..... not sure where else to post them haha. Also they are lacking text for action and other direction, so they aren't quite completed (and it's just a small section of the story).

Well, storyboards are simplified pictures of how a scene will play out in a movie. Yours seem to flow clearly, and seem in my opinion to be even more than necissarily well drawn, so I really see no problem with them. Nice work!

Yep, these are great. The idea is clear, the mood is established, shots framed, story clearly told, and the artwork is nice to boot (which is a plus). Well done.

Here is another one... storyboarding is pretty fun.

I was told I need to add more abstractness and escalation to them though, so that's the next step I think. I had some planned coming up, so will see how they turn out

These are looking good, but as you were advised to do, you need to abstract them a little more. Mainly because it's far easier (not just on you) but the gestures/ expressions can become far more exagerrated to get the message across to the viewer. Where this would come in handy is with the 'stick to the face' shot, which at the moment isn't really selling it to me.

this is definitely the highest level of rendering I've seen in a storyboard. I'm used to stick figures or gestural sketches.

perhaps keeping it looser would allow you to do more panels in total, allowing you to experiment with more camera angles or variations in shots
