    Cote's booklet >>the reset button<<

I'll start with some recent paints and hopefully I can update often.

It's great to see such a good artist learning C++, I am originally a programmer that wanted to learn about art .

But, If you want to learn programming, specially if you are oriented towards gaming, I recommend you to first start learning about a program called "Scirra Contruct" or "Game Maker", both are visual programming tools which will teach you the most important things regarding game programming, that knowledge will be usefull when learning more complex languages and you will also create games, which I think it's your goal in the first place.

    Keep posting your progress.

    Hey Christian,

I don't know many fellow artists who are into coding, unfortunately. This makes it hard to find anyone to teach you. Having someone next to you really softens the learning curve. Otherwise you're like me trying to read tutorials and books on programing and you constantly have to google problems. I'll post more stuff as I go for sure! Here's the human rough and some painting madness..

Here's some landscape studies from photo refs.

I've been struggling with backgrounds and I need to break away from simple flat BGs blah. I also throw myself into details too quickly hence the small roughs.

Boo / MatejaPetkovic - thanks guys, lots more to come

DanielC - your blog made me jizz my pants

Wellow - thanks, I often draw simple silhouettes with limited details and leave the rest to imagination. In a finished piece what's hard is to get the right combination between light/shadows and details. Too much of any will kill your image, too little let's it down. anyway, yap yap

here's a late session of colour sex:
