    Traditional Work

    Hello all fellow artists!

Thought I'd share a recently finished portrait drawing I did of a friend of mine with you, along with some other traditional paintings & drawings.

'Alice' here is also an artist and designer from SW China.

    Hope you like

    - Graphite pencil on 'Arches Hot-pressed' watercolor paper -

    Cheers

    'Rosewood'

This painting ' Rosewood' is from last year... it's of my brother in his workshop, preparing some rosewood for a piece of furniture.

(I only got back into painting last year, so will upload more as soon as they're ready)

    Cheers!

Great work! Traditional media is always gonna be my favourite I reckon, the Mongolian piece is really nice. Reminds me of The Potato Eaters, all the characters having very interesting and 'lived-in' faces.

    Hello wunts,

are these paintings famous?? its like ive seen them before!!
Not sure about 'famous' as such.... although they were published in the quarterly 'Blue Canvas' Issue#3 magazine just last month:

    http://www.bluecanvas.com/magazine/index.php

They've also been exhibited here in London (and at other on-line galleries here and there also....)

    Cheers!

May I ask for a super hi-res version of the portrait of Alice? I absolutely love the details and would love to see it closer up!

Love the personality in the painting and Alice's clothing texture!
