    Daily efforts and latest endeavors!(Updated 2 to 3 times a week though ;D )

Hellooooo, everybody. I posted some work here about 2 months or so ago and then ditched due to some personal issues and time constraints so no one knows me here. For a short introduction, I'm 18, Peruvian, and self-taught. I've been doing what the people who criticized my work told me to due to improve and I now practice on a daily basis. So i'll give it a go and post my work here, hoping to look back at it years later if I become a successful concept artist:

I'd still work on that image size thing if I were you. I think a lot of people would rather walk away than fiddle around trying to see the full thing. What you have looks promising though. Try to throw in some stuff for your head to see if you're improving there.

I usually think of trivial things before going to sleep, and I was thinking ¨if life were possible in space andthere were an ecosystem in it, what would the beings living in there look like?¨, so I jumped out of my sheets and made this quick sketch.

3 quick designs I came up with; it's the first time I use this art style to do anything and I personally like how they came out.

No serious practive today, but I did this. It's supposed to look tall and powerful, that's why I gave it a penis. Besides, dragons are still animals in one way or another.....they have to reproduce somehow don't they?

I was gone for a while for personal reasons, but I did these in the meantime. I'll scan the daily practice pencils sometime.

Major BUMP. I've been gone from the forums for nearly half a year, half a year that i've spent practicing for hours on a daily basis. I've learned anatomy, color, composition, and all the vital aspects for concept design. Actually, I won't say i've ¨learned¨ these, but rather practice a lot on each one of them.
These are some of my best results, they're not in order of progression though.

Please, critizice honestly, I appreciate any tips.

This is what I got done today; decided that I would update my sketchbook on a daily basis (for the most part...) because I didnt upload anything for.....6 months.

Trying to solve values as quick as I can, that's why I got 4 studies done yesterday. I usually have a design/idea pretty fledged out in my mind in terms of what it's going to be, but I end up spending too much time refining values to the point where my diminishing marginal utility becomes 0 and I virtually start adding a clusterfuck of unecesarry values in wrong places. Either way, that's what I'm working on

although I can't upload my pencil sketches because my scanner suddenly stopped on me, I'll upload this here. I've been trying to get familiar with the female figure....mainly because I spent the most part of childhood drawing rippling muscles and mosnters like most other kids, so it shouldnt come as a surprise that i'm not very good with the more femenine topics.
This here is my first attempt at a woman from scratch. Tried to NOT give her a bimbo look.....but it came out like that anyways >_>
another issue i've run across is that I don't have enough space for the smaller work areas, namely faces, as you can tell by how awkward her face looks.

Finished the last one of this set just now, so i'll upload them. the peas were a quick sketchbook practice.
I've attached them in order of pregressions, those are the only actual paintings i've done. i've tried several time before these, but with unsatisfactory results....because I was pretty damn bad when I was 16. Anyways, here!

Finally got a set of decent pencils.
Up until now, i've been quite lousy with pencils, so I'll try to get better at them.....mainly because they're so damn essential.
Couldn't find any decent anatomical references either so I took pictures of myself in order to do these two studies. The doorknob took me about 2 hours.

    update

finally bought myself a good set of pencils from 8H to 8B, mainly because I suck at using pencils ATM and they're....quite the essential tool for any aspiring artist. Took me quite a while to do these two anatomical studies(used photos of myself for reference as I couldnt find the poses I wanted on the interwebs), but I guess they're decent.
The doorknob took me about 2 hours.

More practice with my new pencils today. I'm kinda proud of having done this without any references considering ive never draw a canine animal before.
Spliced because of ricidulously small scanner -_-

I really enjoy this stuff your coloring looks really well. But its obvious that your drawings alot of the time are not proportioned right, sometimes too wide, sometimes to long and not wide enough, etc.

^ True, that's why i'm working a lot on figure drawing! I just hope you're not referring to my self anatomic studies because that'd mean im deformed XD

Following the beer mug, I wanted to challenge myself a bit more with transparent objects such as glass....but I'm really not digging the outcome of this jar

Went at it again, trying out my new pencils. My grainy canson sketchbook paper doesnt really give me the texture I want to work with....so I tried an A4 bond sheet, which kinda gave me a crappy result too, i'll buy a smooth sketchbook.
