Hi
I've once seen a video showing the process of a particular drawing done in painter...
Is it possible to record your own process through painter itself? for later review
thanks

i see
and how can i create one? because the Movie tab is greyed out![]()
my painter always crashesss, its a pain in the ass, i recomend you to get camstasia, its a free software, so you can recor directly over the screen, works nicer for me than the crashing thing of painter.
There are no such things as bad art, just tight deadlines.
Camtasia is NOT free, it costs $299:

You may be thinking of Cam Studio, which is free.
Here u goScroll to the last post to read my findings when using CamStudio, it works, but not without conditions. Doug B recommended it to me also:

sorry for replying late; but wanted to thank you guys for the links
i'm trying out this cam thing right away as yea, scripts did bug a little![]()
I'm sure someone can make a whole training video on how to create and use scripts in Painter. It seems to even come off as a mystery to the creators XD
It's just I've never seen a really good explanation on it, and why do things "go wrong" etc...
On the subject of scripts, does anyone know how to turn them off? They never work anyway and I rarely have cause to use them, so I'd rather switch them off rather than wasting CPU and generating unwanted files that fragment my disk.
Thanks Arshes, but I tried that and it replied helpfully "Number out of range". I've tried looking in Script > Options too but there's nothing there.
