hi every body,after a long time finally i decided to start my sketchbook
i wanna show my progress to you guys,and i hope u'll tell me my mistakes!!!

1.what should i do to have a real shadows?as u see,my shadows are not good and i coulden't found good way for fix them,do have any tutorial or method for make real shadow?!

after all,be honest,is it good for me?i have 16 years old and started to learn(selftought)from last summer!

Hello Homayun. First, I suggest you to upload bigger images, some of these are to small. This would be mistake number 1. As for the shadows, mistake number 2, I had the guy asking the same question, how do I make my shadows right? My suggestion is, try first by pure simple thinking and remembering. Tell where your light source is, and then think where would the shadows be. Observe real life objects and people. Observer the light source, the sun, the lamp, whatever, and observer the object shadows, their direction and volume. Post #3, it clearly shows you have difficulty with shading. The shading you did on the right side of the face is quite straight, while it should be more of a curved line, loosen. So, like I said, thinking, remembering, observation. Keep on!

Hey bro, You should flip your image so that they are not side ways ! Use ref photos for just about everything you do that has a person in it, This will help you make the picture look better and it will give you info about how the body works and how stuff bends and curves. Make sure that you are never just copying because then it would be pointless to really do anything lol. I think that you should start with basics before moving on to something that is way over your head and can not learn very well. I think that some Loomis and Bridgman would help you a lot, But make sure that you are doing more then that because if they are all that you do then that is only making it so you can draw their drawings instead of translating the info that they give you into other drawings, hope this helps!

Yea dude, you should start with the basics and draw from life these are like the most important things you can do! If you need any direction or something I'll try and help you the best I can!
