    Thanks for offering this, Cerasela!

I have a couple of questions.

Does that mean the deadline is Feb 25th?

Also, are we to only post one photo?

    Hello jpacer

yes the deadline is Feb 25th , (as you know, Discovery is on demand) so we can offer the pass also within.
you can take more shots of you of course , how many you want but don´t post hundred pics where the link is on a different face part, you know what i mean

I'm still interested. Life threw me a crummy curve ball in the last two weeks and I haven't had a chance. Hopefully I can do something this weekend.

Hi guys thank you for continuing the contest!

First of all I have to admit, that I have reinterpreted the task a little bit but I hope you will appreciate my promotion nevertheless. However, I actually did not break any of the mentioned "rules" by not being naked (most of the time).

Ok so here is what I did:
The unique, flashy and huge "the art department" graffiti bombing!
Before you think about any legal things, I had permission doing it so there will be absolutely no problem.

    The location:
Right across the towns main station, you can see it from the station, it can easily be spotted by every passing train and I took a picture from a bridge really far away. The wall itself is located at the entrance of a bigger parking area and every car entering has to pass it.

    The material:
35m (114ft ?) long and ~2m high concrete wall grounded with white wall paint background and letters with montana spraypaint. Some frozen fingers, dirty jackets and fresh air!

    The execution:
I decided to write mostly without serifs for the best possible perceptibility and the extra red color to seperate the words more easily if you have to read it quickly.

Sorry for all the pictures but it was difficult to capture it's size with the camera. I also added a mouse pointer and "apply now" because there was some space left on the right. Since I did it on a sunday, to avoid the driving cars, there are not many people around but there are definitely more on regular days.

I hope you like it and TAD can get some additional hits because of that.

Thanks to my pal Steven for helping me out!

Mine is made in Quito Ecuador, on a very long wall. The art was a collaborative effort with a group of local friends. We decided to focus more on the art aspect than actual typography though, so pardon my sucky lettering. And I spelled "FUKIN" on purpose, cause I'm crazed about DIE ANTWOORD (check out some videos in you tube)... haha!

    ENJOY!

Aaaaalright, here's my contribution! First off, I created a t-shirt with the URL and sketched out an image on it to make it more eye catching. I then got myself full Art Department sleeves with the fantastic tattooing skills of my cousin Nate (thanks Nate!). After spending the better part of the day with that prep, I hit the streets for a monthly art walk in Mesa that brings out live musicians, street vendors and includes local shops and art galleries.

Pretty good crowd that night. Lots of people walking around checking stuff out and I got quite a few prolonged stares. Haha.

I stopped to have a lovely chat about art and life.

This shop (Evermore Nevermore) had a really awesome Steampunk Spectacular exhibit with art, crazy contraptions, steampunk jewelry and a whole table of these guys' steampunk gear from gasmasks to flamethrowers to hand grenades. The guy in the picture there even stopped me so he could take a picture of my arms.

Stopped into one of the galleries and was surprised to see some paintings by my old teacher Jim Garrison. They had free cookies too! Some more people asked me about my tattoos in here.

    Better shot of the shirt.

And some better views of the sleevework.

Overall, it worked out great. Much more successful than my flyers attempt! I got a TON of people looking at my shirt and arms and quite a few people asking me about it. I've also been wearing the shirt to school occasionally and might have another opportunity to wear it to an art event. I'll post that if I do.

    Cool

I painted it to my bikerjackets back and went out. It's not that big and flashy but I'm going to use this whenever it's not too cold. Planing to go to library to morrow Theres no (outdoor) happenings in Finland this time of year.
