Ok, sorry people. I´ve now, again, spent a lot of time trying to get the subtitles to work in Quicktime. This time using Windows and not a Mac. Some shit, different smell. It just wont work. Only think I then can think of is merging the videofile and subtitles together to a singular movie, but I´m not planning on doing it. I find VLC to be the best and easiest out there for both mac and pc. But that would be my suggestion if you really don´t like vlc (though I can´t see why you wouldn´t like it ).

Sorry MassiveDVD, I was really hoping to help you with this issue, even though I don´t really see it as an issue. Keep up the good work as usual.

If you're having trouble with VLC on the Mac you might want to try Cellulo. We've had some folks report that it works well with subtitles and our videos.

I know definetly better than NYU because there are more connections and chances for professional development. I can't speak for the schools in the UK specifically, but in any IR-field, it's best to stay closest to the international centers for opportunities to attend seminars and internships.

You sure you didnt get them? If you downloaded the zip file, then they should be in there.

No I probably did get them but, after transferring my files back and forth from my work pc and home and jump drive/ ext hdd it either got lost and/or the file is messed up somehow now. I have two videos that I bought that I cant play now basically.

Ah ok I see, been there done that. What I suggest is clicking on the link you got via email when you purchased them. The ones that take you to the downloading of the zipfile. Either it will still be open for you, or you can "request additional downloads".
