jubilee...nice job...u gave my character more characterization and he feels more alive to me..thank u for coloring him..origianlly his hair is supposed to be dark red(kinda bloody looking and his cloak is supposed to have blood splattered all over...and his eyes were going to glow alittle...but his eyes are actaully kind of golden(yellowish..and at night they glow)

i will also explain my character..his name is "Seth Hellwind", he is a wanderer doing what he wishs and satisfies him, some people fear him for having a very very suspicious reputation and is rumored for the death of many people who stood in his way (such as thieves, bandits, and gangs)..
the call him "berserker", "Crimson Slayer" for having said that when he engages in battle he is actually someone else as if he where possessed, and who els knows what.. his past is unknown, yet he has great skills with the the sword.
later he meets some unusual people that want to be friends with him and eventually seth changes abit...he is actually a very peaceful person and likes to be alone in quiet places and admires the beauties of nature....but when he fights he is recongnized as a monster.
ah what the hell.. this is an idea so far but i might change some things...
please give me some suggestions if u want...
i also do realize this isn't that much part of the forum but it still explains my drawing of a character concept...
if u can comeup with a good background for this character tell me.

    yo yo yo

this is a relly cool thread. I suck bigtime at colors so I thought this would be the perfect way for me to learn! Here's a pic of Young Pdaddy that I colored (hope I didnt ruin it too much man!):

It looked like he had cool glowing crystals for teeth... so I figured it'd be a good experiment in lighting...

And for kicks, here's something I drew for you all to color. (A high res version of this can be found here :)

Constructive crits and comments are ALWAYS appreciated! Thanks people!

cheers for colouring the whale thing, I'm glad somebody finally did, nice job, weird seeing it in orange though, just a couple of crits on the youg lady I coloured in return, her head was a bit large for her body and her left foot is angled making it look like its infront of her right. That said pretty cool linework.

I'd really like to see what someone will do with something like this :

I'll try to color some work from others later on, will be some good practice.

i see....well alright...i guesss i misunderstood...i'm actually new to painter..and painter is very similar to photoshop, i just got this program and installed it and picked up on how to use the basic tools pretty fast...also the layers are much different....i still have so much more to learn about the amazing powers of the Painter 7 program!

    finally...

ive been wanting to post here, but ive always never had the time to jump in on coloring...but i do now.

    line art - AmishCommy
    Colors - brkofdon (ME)

i colored it the way i did, so it would match the vectored line style, i think it turned out ok. o and is this person a boy or girl??? its hard to tell since theres no boobs visible (unless shes flat)? anyways here ya go!

...and here is my line art, i did last year. ive had issues in coloring this myself since its so surreal...this is why i would love to see how you people attack my work...

brkofdon - looks cool, it's has the same feel as the one i colored. I used Macromedia Freehand to color mine so everything was in solid colors like yours
