I am big fan of your work, that Balrog creature is pretty stunning. You always capture so a great sense of atmosphere and scale in your work its great to look at. The RPG cover you did post 875 is officially one of my all time frav illustrations to look at really good solid composition.

Your recent work is looking great! As always, I have to commend you on your texture work--it's mesmerizing, particularly in both of your most recent pieces. Do you have any tips on how you achieved that sort of wispy, smoke/fire effect in the WIP with the flame elemental? (I don't know exactly what he is, so I'm going to call him a flame elemental for the time being). Also, the lush colors and textures in the foliage in the second piece are great. While I'm begging for advice, do you have any concerning how you would usually go about setting up the foliage (on the ground and in the trees) in a forest scene like that?

The way you've expressed vegetation and subtle pools of light illuminating it in the horned mask guy piece is great, I love how it's so minimal but conveys the message so exactly. Great work as always man!

    Nice updates dude!

That enviro with the crystals, was thinking the crystals could do with being a bit more random in size and clustering. Also I think maybe the cloak should be more of a contrast

Meps: Thanks again for the support Meps. Not realy sure how to answer your questions though, i was just sketching around on the elemental and got carried away rendering it, i guess most of the effect is done with soft and smoke brushes. On the foliage i just would recommend to try to work it out from bigger shapes, not trying to paint all the leaves, alot can be also done realy fast with certain custumbrushes.

    Thanks for the advice!

The latest piece looks great--lighting, the figure, the way you rendered the metal, all of it. I'm weirdly mesmerized by the castle in the background--you did a really good job on the lighting.

If I had to nitpick, I'd just point out that the edges of the cape are making a tangent to the edge of the composition. But that's all I have for now. Looking forward to more!

Your brush strokes, lighting, landscapes and composition! SO GOOOOOOOOOOD! I also love that you exercise a full range of edge hardness/ softness which most people don't do (including me).
The tangent of the cape to the border on the "warbreaker" cover isn't bad imo. Tangents are only supposed to be avoided because they kill depth and are irritating to look at, right? I don't think the cape has either of those problems, and i think it's a great flowing path to the figure.

Anyway, like everyone is saying, your stuff lately is amazing.
