Thanks for streaming, it was a lot of fun hearing your sexy voice. Haha. I like the coloring of the last one, too, btw.

Wow I really like that demon that's in black 'n white with them hot flames!![]()
Viktor these looks great again, one little critique: you could add more facial expression to your (human) characters, they all have the same bored expression![]()
kevin_: thanks, glad you like it.
Shadow Stalker: Thanks for hanging out mate.
Danny_K: Thanks! i wont...for a while.
Gloominati: Thanks dude. Guess i am living the dream then, cause i am definetly a fucked up illustrator.
Murderotic: thank you
Mark Tarrisse: Yea mark definetly, will keep that in mind for future characters, still much to learn!
did some quick fixes on the last character, like it more now and might take it further from here.

beautiful paintings. try play around a bit more with edges especially on the contour of the figure in general, it would aid the sense of depth and atmosphere.
the white cloth between his legs (on the last collaboration with alex) is drawing way too much attention for me, its very high in value, a very uniformly sharp shape and quite big. finding a way to subdue the edges and value of it would make the picture a lot stronger
i love your environments the red environment thing is sweet sweet sweet
sleep: Thanks man, appreciate you dropping by! I agree with you on all points, and your critic is always spot on, i will try to keep it in mind on my next pieces.
done!

fuggin awesome man, no real critiques from me other than the character poses sometimes feel really posed, the last guys left arm is just like, "HEY LOOK WHAT I'M HOLDING!!!!" kind of vibe and the dude before with his one arm straight out, just a bit strange I feel. Keep goin though, great lighting and colors!
Fantastic, V.
that chara, he wants to show me something! i bet it´s a pokeball
Fucking amazing work man, that last piece made my jaw drop. You're inspiring me to practice every day.
f-ing fabulous fetsch...
Awesome updates!
How do you go about coloring your greyscale images? Do use a color layer, color directly on it or a combination of both? I'm kinda regretting starting the coloring process so late, it takes more time to get the colors right.
That red enviroment is amazing. The bridge is really ominous looking.
Love your sketchbook. I'm gonna keep an eye on it.
Happy posting!
The Cover looks awesome, Viktor! I really like the light in that one and how you managed the edges and level of detail. Very inspiring!
Also great characters![]()
I was walking through Thalia(this book store) today, my eyes were catched by a cover. within the chaos of books it was this cover that gathered my attention. on a second view i was like: wow, looks familiar too me blablabla it was yours![]()
I think it speaks for the quality of your work that it was this image that took my attention on first sight...you cannot help but take your hat off to it.
same goes for you newest cover, nice work!
btw. it was an archer at the cover...something with wind idk.
looking foward to your next update!
Metal Fingers: Thanks dude! You're right about the arms, meeh tried to change it on this character now, i think it works a bit better now.
Shadow Stalker: Thanks mate!
Alexandr Pascenko: Yea, i know i know i know.
r zanchetin: Thanks man, i'm flattered!
albino-Z:
Rustveld: Sorry for the late reply, feel free to write me a pm next time i will probably answer faster. I have tried alot of approaches with coloring my characters and just do it depending on my mood i guess. Usualy when i have a greyscale blockin, i lay in my basic colors with overlay, softlight modes etc. adding textures as well and then flatten everything down and start painting directly on top. Whenever something feels wrong or muddy to you, you can always use other adjustment layers and layer modes inbetween, flatten it down then keep painting in normal mode. I hope that helps a bit, feel free to ask me anything if you have more questions.
Obstfelder: Thanks man, glad you like it.
Nele Klumpe: Thank you Nele! Your work is getting better everytime i visit your sb.![]()
Philipp Scherer: Haha thats way to much praise, thanks! It was a good feeling when i first saw one of my Covers in a store, actualy i saw 2 books beneath and both were my covers, haha![]()

Has anyone mentioned how much of a boss you are? Your stuff is amazing!!! I really loved the piece you did with the green dragon like creature. I only hope that one day I can create such beautiful peaces. Keep on posting it's inspirational.
just dropping by to say, that i have noticed your update.
yeah....
that´s it....
so far.
The latest character is looking great! Fixing the pose of the arm as per Metal Fingers's advice really worked--it looks a lot more natural now. You did a great job incorporating a variety of patterns and textures into the design without making it look too dissonant as a whole.
Oh, and thanks for the advice on textures! I'll have to try that out in my next piece![]()
