Nice updates! Really enjoy your color choices in particular, very striking and bold. I would say maybe to put a bit more focus on value and form for your images. Keep it going!

Nice work you've got there.
Studying anatomy/figures would help.
You can check out my sketchbook and pm me of what you think.

you figure sketches are pretty, i like 'em. also, im not sure if it is your own design but you simplified version of the skeletal structure with the rib cage, with some shoulder pad looking mass attached to it: yah that is a cool design
Hey Jamsession, good to see you've already improved a lot in under 2 pages. I was going to suggest working in black and white right up until i saw the last half of this page, now i'm unsure as it's coming along. I personally think it's better to really get a strong understanding of greyscale then work out colour after, but what ever works for you. When it comes to structuring your anatomy, i think you need to learn a simplified skeleton as an under drawing to the drawing, like the one loomis has in the beginning of his anatomy books. Learn to draw them fast and then slow down for the figure on top. Hope that helps, keep up the fight buddy!

you got the blending down so far but try to work a little more on adding textures cause some of your drawings look too over blended or blurry I can't wait to see more from ya
whoo thanks guys,
@denzel: nope it's a mannequin heheh i wish i could invent such anatomic refs tho
@chris sanders: thanks i'll keep working on human figures, which are among my weakest points, more. yea human or more generalized, lifeform anatomy 1, values 2. havta work haaard :))

@udonhead: thankies, i've changed the brush and opacity lately, the muddiness was bugging me too so i'll experiment with different brushes. i use a 3 point custom brush for blending, hard round brush for painting and a custom soft brush (not the round one) for shadows & highlights on a different trans. layer. opacity and flow were usually set to 35 - 45 resp. but now i've changed them to 75 to 90 for opacity and 55-75 for flow.
