    Just a sketch of a dragon that I saw in a dream last night. I'm working on the full body right now.

    Time to upload once again. Not really in the mood to tell anything about the images, not that anyone would read a word anyway.

    Your dragons look great!

    I was trying to think of some critiques for you, but everything I thought of really just boiled down to my preferences differing from your's. I think that as an artist you are far ahead of me and doing a great job of improving and refining your style.

    Keep up the good work!

    I haven't been uploading much as of late, but have been doing more sketching and yet more anatomy studies(in the form of expressions and... too many faces). Been enjoying and I think I'm finally getting the hang of them faces. Still trying to figure out perspectives so that I could move to the visions I get whilst reading etc, because they've got such tremendously hard perspectives(for me at least) that I simply cannot execute them with the skills I've got now and trust me, I've tried. 8I And I'll keep on trying until I've got them right! >8D

    I love your use of colors and that dragon head got me excited to see the rest of the body but I was really disappointed with the way it turned out.It looks like an average iguana,not at all threatening.
    Your style makes me think you're a fan of Disney and Avatar too,it's a nice blend and I can see you mastering it soon enough even better but please redo that dragon's body,add some wings and make it's skin look a bit more hard and dark.The head is too good to leave it like that,trust me!

    @Kringle:
    The dragon did have wings at one point but I decided to go with a more plain lizardy look since I've got a ton of flying lizards already. Doing a flying version wouldn't hurt, though. You can expect me to post something by tomorrow.
    And hm, I've never really thought about it, but I don't think it's either of those, I've always been more of a fan of Dreamworks' animated movies, and they aired Avatar a bit too early for me to be awake when it was on... D:

    @Tess:
    Thank you!

    PS: I started drawing some older, badly neglected creatures of mine.

    @ Kringle:
    Here's a quick concept of a winged dragon like that

    Basically, these are very small creatures(around a meter long from snout to tail-tip), and live in the Southern mountains of Hai near volcanoes both sleeping and active, where the soil is fertile and there's a lot of small animals to catch. Thy eat mainly other lizards and small mammals.
    They have a plethora of needle-sharp keratin scales to protect them from predatory birds and as weapons against other giiba during territorial fights(the males take over large stones or stone-piles that they guard and that females often come to reside in(the bigger the stone, the larger the harem). The biggest stones/piles are, of course, often fought over). Other forms of communication are doing "push-ups" to threaten other males and lifting heads to show the bright under-jaw(also to threaten). The males are often bright in color whereas the females tend to be dark gray.
    They often dig themselves small tunnels under and around their stones to guard themselves from aerial predators.
    Despite having wings, they do not spend long times off ground and only go for prey that's already in their sight. The longer a male giiba stays off his stone, the higher the risk it's taken over when he returns.

    Although they possess the ability to spit fire, they only use it in self-defense. The liquid they secrete(two different kinds, one from a gland each side of the jaw) is shot in an angle in which they meet around 1-2 meters from the giiba(they can spit fire as far as twenty meters, though, which is quite impressive for small animal like this). They often spit small amounts at a time to scare off the predators but if this fails, it's able to spit fire for twenty seconds straight before its glands empty.
    The Galk living near these animals sometimes catch a few that they'll sedate so they can harvest their fire by squeezing the contents of each gland into a vial. They then let the animals go and will use the liquids to make explosives(round shell with a wall between the two liquids. This bomb is thrown and the wall breaks on impact, resulting in a mighty KER-FUCKETY-BOOM).

    I like making up things like this. MORE!

    I don't think this is what I began to draw but somehow it just turned into this. I'm extremely bad at interaction between people and items so a little practice isn't but healthy. And now I'll go back to practice.

    A chibi version of a pet(Mahar) from a site called Subeta. I'd drawn a picture of this creature some years ago and did one again for the sake of working on something(and I wanted to make an overlay for my pet because reasons).
    I hope I managed well, I aimed for kind of short, silky fur, or perhaps something velvet-like, extremely fine and soft aaand... that's about it. Doing non-realistic anatomy feels weird, man.

    @Fuggendaboudit: Thanks!

    Oi, I got my first ever pet commission! I wanted to do something with a little tension in it, as cats give me this "it could do anything at any moment" feeling so I ended up seeking for inspiration from things cats do, and the "about to leap" part of a cat's running cycle stroke me as the best thing I could do. Sure, it's a profile-shot but I wanted something that'd show the swirl on the cat's fur so... This is how it ended up.

    I'm pretty happy with it and so is the commissioner, although I do have this creeping feeling that I'll get feedback for boringness. <:c

    The finished product that I forgot to post when I got it done some days ago.

    Something personal I'm working on. Trying to work on the character - background interaction, also mood etc. I think I'm doing fairly well, taken that I don't usually do this kind of stuff but seriously, if you've got something to critique, please do! c:

    The color in the clouds in the last two posts is really nice and atmospheric, and I'm really digging the posture and menace of the dragon in the last image. I would suggest pushing and exploring different types of faces and facial features in your characters, right now the noses and eyes seem a little similar in many of them.

    Continuing on the dragon and unicorn

    And, thanks to Procaster, Photoshop crashed and deleted all the eyes I'd been drawing to show how thye look when put next to each others. :U I had not saved, I am upset, will do that again some other day when I'm not upset.

    Decided to make some changes to the posture of the dragon, also added ears. This'll be a long and tedious project but it's not like anyone cared so whatever.
