Here is a wip image of my "4 of the pentacles". It's still a bit cartoony and quite ordinary looking, but I hope the coloring and the place where I put it can give a unique feel to the overall image in the end.
... otherwise, the effects will sell it!!!

some update on Strenght. i see now, that the former pose wasnt correct, it became very disappointing in the painting phase, so i changed it, hope you like the direction

jozulus : lovin' the princess evolution. And the little details that are startin' to pop up like the quilting on the sides of your hierophant for instance are pulling it in man ! Nice, lookin' forward to the final versions.

brisket : the arms on that two of pentacles are totally makin' it for me. Odd but real sweet

Here is my finished 4 of pentacles picture. It's still not a card, we need to use some post effects and colorcorrections on all characters to make them match together. And of course we also have to make a unique border for them!

nice idea with the cyclops-hole on the armors.
however, the best helmet IMHO is the 'floating' hierophant's last version. its a bit hussar-like too!

the strength card got more lion-like with the zoom-in, but i preferred the bigger view with all the crunchy details. otherwise very nice!

You guys got my vote. Love the Sci-Fi, especially the princess and the emperor, they synergize well, and all the cards have these reccurring circles in them. Top stuff!

You guys have my favorite entry. The type is nothing short of great. I like how all of the poses have a consistently balanced design. All except the knight unfortunately. It's still good, but it sort of breaks continuity with the graphic approach you've taken with the rest.

We though t that it would be boring if all our cards would be symmetrycal, so some parts we directly broke that with some elements.

Base symmetry of the graphical effect of the cards was a main goal, couse we wanted to create classic card-fit illustrat impression.
