Id love to see your process and how you plan out the images.
Id just watched a video by David Peterson the guy who does the Mouse Guard books about his inking style. Very cool stuff.
Thanks Blitz! I only had 30 days to do all of these so my process had to be quick....each image was hashed out in thumbnail in an A5 tinted sketchbook with pencils and white gel pen to get the layout right, and the characters further developed. I had 30 pieces of paper cut to size and handy with the containing rectangle pencilled in, onto which each design was layed out in pencil with a fair degree of detail. Then the larger areas of black ink were painted in with a small brush. The rest was drawn in with a rotring pen.
