haha yh funny you said that as my grandads head was drew a while back so i lacked knowledge and my grandmas head was drew like yesterday and day before so its good you can notice the difference

here is the finished result of the drawing of my Nan and Granddad, i want to move on to do some more life drawings or figure drawings so im calling this finished

Just painted my dumbell took 1Hr first time I've ever properly painted. was so much fun i knew i would love painting. used acrylic and water colour for the highlights

here is a painting im working MEGA HARD I LOVE IT so much colour i and learning tons and that was the reason i picked it i can feel this image improving my colour picking, i just need to work on my values within colour, this is not the latest ill post the up to date one later on

Hey man, that latest painting is looking good! You picked a complicated lighting, haha. The form is looking great so far. Maybe try to paint harder edges on the most strongly lit parts? The whole things looks pretty soft right now. If it's a work in progress maybe you could post the photo ref you're using, otherwise I'm a big zero with color theory and can't help much.

I'm kinda happy to see the progress you've made considering you're still so young. You're doing great, keep going!

thanks alot @Rob and yh i see what you mean about hard edges, hmm that could be due to the fact that i was using a blendin brush

did some sketching today did the poses 1 min each and then went on and refined the anatomy and lines more. if i drew like this all the time i would have drawings finished in half the time i couldnt believe how quick i drew the figures, but yes i can see the errors but the exercise was more about poses and speed

ive been on holdiay to Trinidad for a month jus got back yesterday and next week i am starting Fine Art in college look forward to meeting some artists that will kick my ass

UR 16!! I just threw up on myself...you talented little whippersnappers make me sick! Please forgive the outburst. Anyway this is a great sketchbook you have going here and if you keep it up you will be amazing by the time you are my age. One thing I notice is that your placement of facial features is a little awkward and incorrect. I see you are doing some skull studies so just keep up with those and you should improve in that area. Also before you start your final rendering really look at it and decide if it looks correct. If it doesn't fix it before you jump into shading. That last zombie pic is amazing.
