guru good sta but think a bit more on balance they all look a bit stiff even though its early keep in mind compositon

Sorry if I breached the rules, I was just getting warmed up with a sketch. Its a hobby of mine to doodle endless deformed Lovecraftian ghouls. Call me odd if you will...
I can get some full char sketches up later.

Yea there is no balance in my lines at all in that quickie didn't really try and all that means is that i need to study more for damn sure...thanks

Oooo a logo sounds fun! I immediately had a cool image in mind so I might try and sketch that out soon as I can just for funsies, since it's not reeaaallly an X-men theme. But it was cool anyway so I'm gonna try to get to it asap

well guys our team is finally official! lets kick some ass! didnt get a chance to really work tonight prolly wont get much tomorrow either girlfriend and i are helping a choir concert at her old school, but great stuff and ideas hope to see more!

p.s. and just that the contest dosent officially start till jan, a good idea is to do some studies

you guys should check out the crimson daggers i got a link in my sig its a study group that this guy dave rapoza (mr.delicious from the howling love boys) and he does a study group everymorning, and he is a good motivational speaker as well lol, i have improved already in about a months time just look at my sketchbook to see yourself but, anyways after sat im free for some insane drawing

Ok, some random doodlings. The hand study is in pencil, the ghouls in graphite stick, so they end up a tad fuzzier. Still, nice gradient action on those sticks.

I keep sketching this same ghoul again and again. Like breaking in a pair of shoes, the character gets more and more easy to manipulate and use. All of these are thumbnails for the final picture.

I just found this after you totally grossed me out with those flesh eaten dead bodies over in the lounge, hah, that stuff is a 10 on the nasty scale. Its crazy that a bacteria that ferocious actually exists.
Anyway, cool stuff! i love all the demons and stuff. I used to draw nothing but stuff like this. You make me want to go back and pick them up again. The only crit to really give is that some of these guys need color so they come to life. Like maybe some pale blackish purple burnt looking skin and glowing red hot embers for eyes. They could even have flaming hair or armor hammered on them or something like that. Cool stuff!

Thanks for looking, ArtZealot. Those little monsters ARE ferocious, arent they?
In any case, I thought I might clarify - these babies are GHOULS - degenerate, mutated horrors, cannibals, but not demons. What you might think are horns are actually ears, grossly distended and swollen to compromise for their extremely poor vision. As for colour, I plan on actually sculpting a large bust of one of these, most likely based on my first facial sketch on page 1, then painting it. Im gonna be using a big box 'o Super Sculpey im getting for Xmas.

Hey guys been awhile since i droped by sorry for lack of precence i have been wraped up in alot of shit lately havent drawn anything glad to see you guys are productive, mordus glad to see your keeping the ideas flowing a few things though, your anatomy (much like my own) needs alot of work i sug while doing these keep some ref photos of skeletons also know this competition has a 3/4ths rule so i want to see more pics of either full body or atleast up to his shins preferably full body, but keep up the work and i havent abbandoned you guys hope you dont think that, now that im back its time to get some ideas pumpin and some competition stompin, LETS DO THIS!!! D :
