Here's a drawing I did of MacGyver. Any criticism is welcomed. The first picture is my drawing and then the second is the reference.

I like the lineart portrait! Do you plan to add any shading to it later?
Yeah, once I get better at shading I will definitely shade it.
a few more sketches, two of which are still life. The superhero guy isn't done yet and I am still messing around with the hands.
Seems to be a solid start. You may want to start looking at Loomis or Bridgeman for anatomical studies.
Here's a few more sketches of mine.
Hello, I haven't posted in a while but I hope my new stuff shows improvement. I am trying to go for a cartoon/comic feel with my drawings. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
Oh, also I would like to know what I am doing right too, so I can build on it.
What's up, Neon Leon. Okay, what you did right...well, you're drawing traditionally and you drew a couple of still lifes. That's a good start. Now you just need to do a bunch more. You need to work on the basics...drawing cubes, cones, and eclipses, etc...to learn about form and volume.
There's a lot of tutorials around here that would get going in the right direction...you just have to look for them.
I just found this one in the Tips and Tricks section just for you (I'm going to be looking at it later too as I've never seen it before) in the stickies section:

Also, don't get discouraged....have patience and work hard. Good luck.
