The rendering is coming along well. It seemed to not catch my attention until the later stages. I think it's a girl on a horse and the other I think you called Bill.

    Keep'em coming

Excellent updates Betsy!! The digi works are looking awesome, especially the zombie. The gun for Mr Robot looks like it has some real potential. Here's a good free reference site for weapons, hope it helps. I'll be back to check so keep up the excellent work my friend!!

danlucas- Thanks!! I took your advice on the stock, but instead of a sniper rifle I made it an assault rifle . Also, I don't think I'll put in a clip, because it's a LASER RIFLE PEW PEW PEW!!!!!
    Granny-Modest as ever RRRRROOOOAAAARRRRmeow
DenaeW- Wow, thank you!!! I'll be checking in on yours, too!
liquidjack- Thanks for the compliment! Although I'm a little confused by the last part of your comment. By bill did you mean the one of Granny? Cause I only did a one shot of bill.
Turbosnail- Aw, Thanks!!! It's so nice that you took the time to do this, I'll definitely use the reference.

You did work on it and it's looking good. Now finish it (it's for your own good, you know).

Seriously, though the new one of Granny looks great! You're kicking ass lately. Keep it up!

Aw, Thanks NicG! Welding's been kicking my ass lately, I keep forgetting that you need to keep replacing all the water that you sweat out.

I put in another view of my robot. If you guys haven't yet, take a look at my welding thread when you have the time, along with the rest of the sculpting and toy section. There's some cool stuff in there!

Thought of this at winco. I also saw an old lady in an electric scooter keep backing into a display of chips. I know it was wrong, but I laughed...a lot.

It's the short bandy legs that makes me think nappies! Go and look at some 2 year olds and you'll understand. He's coming along a treat.

The values need to be pushed in the strawberry and pistachio areas of the dog. Stop making me crave ice cream!

Sorry for zombifing you, but it had to be done and I see the self portraits have improved as a result.

Hey, thanks for dropping by my sketchbook!

Yours is awesome! I love your use of imagination, it's so inspiring. And your 3D stuff is cool, just be safe when you're welding! I love seeing your progress, especially your studies; it's awesome to have kept your sketchbook for this long. Have a good one!

    Teapo: Glad you like him!
Black Spot: You don't have to apologize, I loved it! Over here in the states, the middle flavor is usually vanilla. I do like pistachio icecream, though.
Linguini: Thank you! It's hard to believe that it's been only 2 and a half months since I started it. And I promise I'll be careful, I've been hurting myself a lot less than when I first started welding.
Zazers: YAY!!! Did anyone else think I was a guy?

Sorry GoGo, I didn't realize you were a girl,
I never look under the Avatar name.
And the fact that you weld caused me to dismiss
the whole idea that you were a girl, lol.
    At least I know now.

    Who or what is Rhoades?

    Nice updates.

danlucas, it's alright, I found it funny. More than once people on this forum didn't realize I was a girl. At least that means that my crap isn't girly, eh? And I asked because Rhoades is someone on your friends list.

Nice work Betsy!! That portrait from the 18th Feb is looking real good. Nice values on that one and the life sketches are also coming along nicely. I'm liking that laser rifle but........(in my best Tony Montana voice)..."Say hello to my little friend!!" Keep up the good work Betsy.

    Eh up Betsy!

Thanks sooooooo muuuuuch for my toon portrait x

First time I've looked through your sb today, was supposed to be drawing my silver screen sirens but this was much more fun!
I really love your cartoons, especially the Blake one with his mutt and the japanese teacher. You should definitely develop that style as well as learning the basics.

You're photoshop skills are coming along really fast, muchos impressed...I think I prefer the first Ice-Cream Dog you posted to the latest, the values are much stronger. Reminds me of how I paint, I kinda have a habit of not knowing when to stop so I've started giving myself a time-limit. makes me think about what is actually needed that might be good for you too (just throwing that one out there!)

Anyway keep at it girrrrl! Will pop back soon

p.s I've tried learning Japanese but from crappy 80's 'skit' type vids hehe 'Are nan desu ka?'

I totally didn't get the pun so I'm glad you explained it . I saw a lady in a scooter try to go through the drive through at Burger King with a dog on her lap and I took a picture with my cell phone. It was wrong and I feel bad about it too but at least I didn't post it on fail blog...

I like the new self portrait but when did you grow a mustache?

NicG-That lady must be doing a cross country road trip! And about the self-portrait: ಠ_ಠ to you.
Granny-Which one am I? Cute or terrible? MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!

Didn't get much done today, alot of screwing around. Mom got us lost at the state park in the morning, and most of the brushes I created I can't get to.
Photoshop gives me an error sign. Here's the stuff I did do, and this is as far as I can go with my SP, because I get an error sign any time I try to paint on it. Hopefully my computer will be alright after I put it in the corner for a little time-out. Ah! now my mouse is acting up!!
