    I'm baaaaacccckkkk...
    Goldilockz: I feel so hurt!
Black Spot: I'm actually starting it over. That drawing wasn't started for that composition, so I want to get it right. I worked on my robot for you, though.
MonkeyZoo: Thanks! You know, growing up one of my nicknames was Lazarette Monkey, because I was the only one in our family that could fit in it to help fix the sailboat engine.
Myllys: Yes. Yes I was. This is literally how I looked:

    ಠ_ಠ

    Frustration.

Granny, you totally snuck in while I was doing this post, but I caught you!!1!!!!one!!!!! I hope you feel better. Right now I can't taste anything. I hope it doesn't last much longer. One time I couldn't taste anything for a week. It really starts to affect you after a while.

I've been using mostly pen lately, that way I can't erase. But this time I didn't have one.

I'm getting out of school way too late, it seems like I'm the only one on
I wanted to do some thing really fast to get me back into the swing of things with welding, so I made a crawdad in 1.5 hours.

(If she's lucky she won't have to deal with me messing up her floor much longer.)

I realized that my math teacher is a lot like a maltese dog, and spent alot of time looking at the baldspot of the guy in front of me.

Hi there, I immensely enjoy the rainjacket guy with the ice pick, the tree and phone polls if I am correct, and your ability to capture expression and emotion quite well. Alot of your drawings seem to have their own way of communicating a sort of story.

    I surrender!

danlucas: Thankyou, that really means alot to me.

I've managed to make it a few year's into college on my own, but it's gotten to the point where I've had to go to the Students with Disabilities Office to get a little leeway on my homework due dates in Physics. It's only one day extra, but I still feel a little defeated.

Oh well. Nothing to do now but draw.

    And make another frustration face.

another person I drew from that thread. I wasn't even trying to make a good color palette, I just wanted to make it as Lisa Frank-y as I could. Maybe I should have just vomited hearts all over it.

Already commented on the clawdad (even thought I called it a lobster) in your welding thread. Robot is now looking confused, not surprised with conflicting lights - sweet.

Thanks Black Spot! I promise I'll finish him.

I finally have a day where I don't have to do anything, so I'll post em as I make em. Here I was working on just getting shapes blocked out first and then details. It was 15 minutes. Still not good enough, but I feel like the little engine that could right now.

NicG, thanks! And guess what? I managed not to burn or cut myself the whole time I was doing it!

This started out inspired by my neighbor's cat Giacomo, but I think I was more inspired by Granny's little brother towards the end. Also, I think I'm on a bit of a tree kick.

Okey dokey, I might do one more after this tonight, I don't know.

I discovered a backlog of a bunch of reference photos I've taken over the past 5 or so years, so I'm going to put them to use. This one was taken on the way to california three years back. It's a bit off, but I can make it work. I've spent too much time on it today, I need a fresh eye.

    Wasp Am i pretty yet???!!!!!

Neato, Teapo! 何年から日本語を勉強しましたか?And what I did on the 4th post is called dry-pointing. It's where you use actually use the metal stylus to engrave directly onto the copperplate, instead of using asphaltum(spelling?) and ferric acid. and sorry if you knew that.

Okay this'll be the last one for today. As you all know, I have eyeballs, so this obviously isn't finished, but i wanna take a shower and SLEEEEEEEEP.

    Tomorrow.

And sorry you guy's have to look at my ugly mug so much, I just don't have the time or the money for a class, and I don't have that many close friends.

!!!!! hey GoGoJoJo (that has an awesome ring to it btw!) sorry all i got out of your sentence was "kara nihongo wo benkyoushimasuta ka" but the answer to that is---- i've been doing self study on/off since 8th grade and currently i'm on my 2nd year in college, and i'm taking my second semester in japanese. i used to be into it like crazy, but now it's just like 'blech..' haha. KEEP POSTING!!! i'll be watching you :3

    Angry DAMN IT!!!

Granny: Aw shucks, you're making me blush! You've made my day! I'll give you a good picture when I can find one.
Teapo: I probably did the sentence wrong, but the first 2 characters where "nan nen" as in like "from what year have you...". I've been studying on and off since 8th grade too, right now I'm in third year, second semester. It can be blech, but there's always that great moment when you realize you can understand something that you couldn't before. It's also been helping me learn to speak better in general, just getting words out of my mouth can be difficult sometimes!

    DDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNN IIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was way into the picture I was doin of Granny, and Painter decided to quit on me. I had not saved yet. STUPID. Sorry Granny, if i finish it tonight, I will post it tonight. Other than that, more on the sp of stupid me. trust me the eyes won't look so freaky when I'm done.

Wow, thank you for the compliment. I like your latest updates. Its always something new and unexpected. What did you make the crawdad with? What materials? It looks like some kind of malleable metal or the like.

That is an awesome mountain photo. Is that in OR or Washington? looks like Mt. Hood. a little

danlucas: I made the crawdad out of mild steel, and the fill rod is also steel with a copper coating. The mountain is actually in california, mt shasta, I think.

Awesome dude, when i saw your welding thread I realized you welded so thats cool. If I welded I would make things and draw them from life. Great stuff. I like your last drawing of the head, and that little montain- seems like needs more contrast. Keep up the good work. I just updated.

[edit]GAAAHHH I turn my back for one second, and there you are! Is your class like mine, where you can't take notes and have to memorize everything beforehand? No wonder I'm so tired! That and the fact that I apparently have been coughing alot in my sleep. Thankyou!

I have to go off to trig until 10 pm, but I'll post more stuff later. I just wanted to get this to seagulls. It looks kind of bad, but I only used fillrod to make it, like trying to make a sculpture out of molten wax with no mold. and also my workspace. I'll post other pictures in my welding thread. More later tonight! Probably...
