    fantastic

this is absolutely incredible. love your style. may i ask if you used a wacom tablet? cause i'd love to try something like this but i'm afraid i would get halfway and give up cause it's too damn hard without a tab.
anyways - one of my favorite things i've seen around here!:chug:

the motion and energy of this piece blows me away!!

you did an excellent job blending some really tough graphical elements together (multiple subjects, rain & lighting, motion)...

and thos faces. woah. those faces really emote.

    good job pimp! imp:

my only criticism is that the way the guy on the front left's left forearm & elbow look a little strange...

p.s. What program did you use (ps or painter)? and what type of brush did you use?... I ask cuz I'm trying to learn how to CG and I'm having trouble figuring out what type of brushes to use ...

Holy Moly - how would you like to see that coming at you.

You really capture the essence of frenzied battle nicely - in a way that other mediums could not.

great movement and style! :chug:

this is a really good piece of work with alot of energy.. if i may make a note... the face to the right of the centre of the image (the main character's left) it really freaks me out, it seems too large and clear to be joined to the body behind it, so as a result it seems to float. just a face in the crowd.. he he he...

This piece makes me think about what my art teacher said to me the other day. he said
" there are 4 levels of art:
    1. when your mom thinks your stuff is 'cool'
    2. when you like what you have done
    3. when peers comment on your skill
    4. when your piece emotionally effects the viewer

when you hav 1-3, you are a drawer, when you achieve level 4, you are an artist"

If hes right, you are an artist. this piece seriouly effected my emotions. teh energy, the pure anger, and strength, very cool man. I like it alot. But i do have to agree with Ni*. The guy on the main character's left, or our right's head is wrong, to big, kinda changes the flow. again congrats man, excellent job

    Thumbs up

FINALLY! I been waiting my whole life for a intense battle scene that gets you right in the middle of the action like that.
By the way, is there a story behind this ?

    ok, obviously its amazing, literally.

now a little crit - i wish that the guy on the far left wasnt looking at the camera. every other soldier except the leader is looking outward, which gives a definite feeling that they are facing their enemies and are preparing to seriously do battle, but when you have that character so close to the foreground looking right at the viewer it kind of has an almost limiting effect.

this wouldnt be hard to fix, just move the pupil over a thousandth of an inch or so. maybe thats personal preference, but if he was looking in another direction like everyone else i think this simple little thing could have a big effect.

all that being said -- again, this is absolutely ridiculous work. big props.
