masterstryke : yeah - it would be awfully slowly - but in the wip section i posted an drawing of an youngster udderslug which are still able to walk cause their udder is not so swallowed.... maybe i should write this together with the picture - the harkonnen feed them until they grow so fat ...any way - slugs also survive - without legs .... and it got some spikes on the back.... so i think it could survive in giedi prime why not ? we got them here on earth ....without legs .... !
and the objective is not them being dangerous - they got to be tasty -----

Steve those paintings are loverly. I would have taken that alien as a Harkonnen meal easily. And that landscape looks so painterly. Really fresh.
