Level 16 Gladiator: Spartacus' Retiarii
Every once in a while I'll drop onto a thread and it will say at the bottom that, for example, 3 CA members are present in the thread, yet only two names appears at the bottom, including my own.
Is that just a computer error, or does that mean a mod is on the thread? Or has someone just left the thread or just come on to the thread? Or what?

I've always just presumed there is a way to be anonymous that perhaps is only available to admins and mods. Looking around at how the most developed open source bulletin board setup works I can see such a power is available on that code and the admins can probably decide in advance which classes of users will have access to it.
