The Graeae (the old women who share a single eye), remind me an awful lot of the baby-eating monster from "Pan's Labyrinth."
I'm also hoping this doesn't turn out to be as much of a brainless "no special effect is too big" action fest as it appears in the trailer.

What the fuck?? Yeah, let's completely throw out the story of the original movie, not to mention the original mythological story of Perseus.In CLASH OF THE TITANS, the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. What did you expect? It's Hollywood, they'll take a big shit on something you like (example a book or video game or a movie they say they gonna remake) and then pisses all over your face and skull-fuck you when you go see it. Nothing from Hollywood suprises me any longer, except that of that they won't destroy something you like.

Yes, despite my earlier complaints, I have been seduced by the eye candy of the trailer. Wow. Awesome as it was to see the Kraken, though, I can't help but feel that they gave too much of it away in the trailer. I think it takes away much of the feeling of anticipation now that we've already been given a clear, sustained look at the "final boss" monster.
The skyline was beautiful on fire.
