Hell yea, I'd do that! Just make a deal beforehand not to spend a whole lot of money on the work - no oil paintings, but I'd happily send a drawing.

I would love to do a secret santa. I miss doing them from when I was in middle/high school. Wouldn't need too much organizing to put together one, all you need is a cutoff date for people to sign up to be part of it, then give people their secret santas & their address, and a deadline to send the presents!
Could make it two little art gifts sent at two different times or, for the sake of shipping costs, one bigger piece of work.

I don't mean to be rude, but I'd feel a bit safer if all this data went to someone who's been on the site a little longer, who has more of a trusted reputation. Anyone else feel the same? Nothing personal, it's just these days, I mean my school got scammed recently and they're being hounded for thousands of euros now. I'm just not a trusting individual. Any chance LoveandaSandwich could do this? She's got an online business selling quality items that everyone raves about, so I'd trust her much more.

i agree with Tasmith, with no disrespect to the OP or anything, this sounds so great; it's just that it's a community activity being handled by someone who's relatively very new to the community. it just seems to come out of the blue

I'm gonna start another thread for this with an "official signup" and whatnot. I'll add people to a list, and just keep the same cutoff dates that she did.
