here are a few pencil doodles. also, i have some bad news about my workplace! looks like the place i'm working @ currently, will be closed down after February. it's like a good/bad thing. good, because i won't have work in the way, therefore i can do more art and improve, oh and homework too i guess.
bad, because i won't be making munniezzzz.. 8U i'll be on unemployment but w/e. i'll try to go for commission work and stuff, cuz i really wanna do this kind of thing for a living > just have to work harder at it... which @ the moment.. been slacking .... UFHUGSDHGJSGHDJLHAFG ok ok. i did however make a new schedule for myself for post-february that way i can fill my time w/ studies n such. looking forward to it

Okay so I was doing this color study from a photo and as I began doing it, I was rushing through it. Realized it looks nowhere near the photo, so I went over and revised it. Patience is key xD. It's still a work in progress. Also, some random pencil sketch.

Here's a still life I did today. Apple, spoon, and my old zune. Didn't really render the zune as much as I wanted to, and I just destroyed the still life right after i finished. Soooo many colors in an apple! Also, the light source changed a bit over time so I had to readjust some values as I went along. There are several discrepancies with the apple's shadow that makes one area of it look flat (I think you can spot it easily).

very nice studies mate.I love the fact that you are working a lot from imagination but also doing life studies and such.So keep up the good work and everytime you start sketchin a new imagination character try to apply a little thing you learned from the previous work(like trying to fix a certain mistake or something)

I think you need to add more contrast in your sketches. No shame in rendering them, but push the values.
