I figured I might as well get this up. I'll update every once in a while. Most of these're going to be low-grade sketches at first. Just some basic stuff like weapon poses and so on and so forth.

I have to admire people who can draw weapons and other machinery so well. The man's feet and legs seem large compared to the rest of him.
Great details on this sketch!
I have to second Kaileighblue on that the weapons look very nice.
Perspective seems a bit off on the lady's rifle though. It looks as if the scope is turned a bit too much to the left! Also, something is bothering me about the woman's head. It seems a little big for her body I think.
Good work though! keep it up.![]()
More fun. And thanks, I like my gun porn plenty! Mind you, that picture was an earlier concept piece. I've modified the characters a bit, and can also currently name everything they're carrying. These two pics're the same guy, in case it wasn't obvious.
The first one's a more finalized design. He's packing an AK-104 with a suppressor, GP-30 underslung grenade launcher, and a Crane stock. Also pictured are a Walther PPS with a suppressor and unseen are a Springfield 1911 clone and an Ostblock ballistic knife. Yes, he's ridiculously well-armed. The second one's more of a study/concept piece for operating a Mosin Nagant.

work a little more on structure
Some fun from something I'm working on as well. This one was doodled from reference, in this case an ODA team practicing breaching with Filipinos.

you seem to know a lot about weapons that I don't not that that's an achievement but
You've definitely got machine/armor design down, the only thing I can suggest is technical points: bold--not scratchy--line, proper weight to characters, construction, etc.
Let's seem some rendered sketches![]()

What, can I say? I'm a gun-nut. I'll eventually get around to giving these designs a polish, but critiques are desired. And as a random bit of boasting, I don't do lines with rulers. All of my stuff's free-handed. More forthcoming later, but here're some poses for your use if you so wish.

Your sketches are nice, very clean, good proportions, I like 'em. As for that digital painting, can't say much about it. Made any more progress?![]()
So I'm guessing you like firearms?

Just watch that you don't make anatomical mistakes and try to cover it up as "your style"
Cheers. Thanks for commenting on my painting.

Two more pieces. I know, I need to clean them up good, and there are some pointed anatomy flaws.

Mmmm, your proportions and anatomy is really good, and I like the detail. Your faces need work though. They're anatomically correct for sure, but their have very little personality and the women all look very similar.
That considered, I still think these are really good.
I bite
*Chuckles sheepishly* Yeah, it's a failing of mine. Part of said homogeneity is because really, what is beauty? It's the commonly accepted norm between any number of faces. The closest the mean of facial appearances is thus considered "beauty". Rant aside, I'm working on it. And the male merc's intentionally a non-personality. Comes from his backstory of being raised from birth to be a killer.

It could be just me, but your latest picture--how the gun is held, seems weird to me. I own some rifles, and depending on the rifle, it can be heavy! Generally I think, if though a bit generic or cliche could be help like the image on reply numba 18 is. Though it could be just me. ( I'm not a very strong little girl-- 'specially when it comes to pumping the damn thing) I'm not an expert on guns, just know the basic ways of holding the gun lol.
For the faces, could could look up different pictures of woman with different facial structures..
Sorry if I didn't help.
The armor's got some strength-amplifying circuitry, duh...
Aside from that, yeah, I'm getting around to actually getting some of the facial work I've been doing lately up. Not exactly unique faces, but when compiled, I'd hope they look sufficiently different. I should be able to have those up by the end of the week.

Your anatomy seems pretty solid, and your costumes are pretty neat. However, I think some of your guns seem a little oversized (for example in reply #18). Yeeaaah yeeeah, they're future guns and they have strength-enhancing armour, but big guns is quickly becoming an overused cliché. You can create a much more believable universe if it's grounded in reality.
Nevertheless, I think you're on a great track here. Keep it up![]()
Some stuff...
Drew this one in about five minutes on MSPaint:
A fairly old piece that I'm airing out before I start putting up the updated version:
