Food Illustrations: Food Network: Cook or Be Cooked

Developed by Red Fly Studio, Food Network: Cook or Be Cooked is hitting the store shelves today. It's an amazing game on the Wii system if you like food(who doesnt?) or if you simply like seeing on-screen judges choke on your friend's masterpiece

This is my first professional game project. I had a great time working on the project, and learned a ton as I went. The memory of me as a student setting my eyes on this forum for the very first time just about 2 years ago is still vivid. Thanks to everybody here in this amazing artist community for opening up my eyes and teaching me the ropes.

All images ©Namco and are painted by me, except for the pancake one, which was a collab between Ron Power and I.

Thanks and have a very good day

Haha! Man I feel hungry now The specular highlight is really making it look juicy! The bed of rice looks a lil out of place though. Tasty stuff!

Tristan: Thanks! They took about 1.5 - 2 work days apiece, give or take. The toughest part was working on them near the end of the day on an empty stomach I had a lot of fun painting these... never thought my love for good food would come in handy so quickly.

zwarrior: Thanks a lot! I definitely learned a lot about colors doing these.

Bendragon: Thanks much! Yeah... I painted and repainted the rice till I ran out of time Now that I have more time I'll probably tackle it again. White + moist + shapeless... I'm learning to think more before I start putting down weird experiments.

    Yummy.

Occasional perspective problems, but on the whole great work.
