Painter 11 Help: Rotating brush...

Photoshop has this option that allows the brush to rotate according to direction... why is this not working in Painter 11? I do not have a billion dollars to buy an Intuos.

Painter lets you rotate the canvas instead, much more like traditional drawing or painting. Use E to go into rotate mode, B to get your brush back and double click E to reset canvas position.

I'm not sure what you mean as Painter does allow you to do that?

op poster was talking about brush dynamics
rotating the canvas doesn't affect them at all, as far as I know

the only method if you cant afford intuos + the art pen for rotating is...
open the "angle" brush control box beside your canvas, and change ur angle to whatever angle you want your strokes to go and paint

Try using Oils- Flat Oils with Angle expression set to Bearing, works for me even without an Art Pen
