Amazing, really amazing, loving your way of rendering
I like the zombie. powerful!!!
Nice work and rendering. Loving the sculpture stuff. Moar color though!
Here is my drawing for today, a self portrait.
Moar color will come later, not much to show right now. Maybe I can dig up some older paintings or something.
Really liking your style Sketchibo![]()
Very nice rendering on those first drawings. Are you going to be posting any finished pieces soon? It's a trouble of mine, I just can't keep interest in a single concept. I guess that means to just keep at it. You can do that as well. Keep posting.

Update!
Here's a color study I did a while back for my zombie painting. Not sure how much I'm going to end up following it, but it's definitely going to be less green in the final.
The other two are a couple of acrylic paintings from about a year ago. I totally hate them at this point, but the people have requested finished work, so finished work they shall have!

School project for today. Oil painting of good ole' Smaug from The Hobbit. I'm looking to make a portfolio piece out of this one so any insight into how I can make this better would be appreciated.
Some stuff. An in-progress drawing that will become a painting soon, a quick sketch of the monster for that painting, a couple doodles of a troll and a dragon head, and some subway sketches.
Hey, Alex! Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook, you got some sweet drawings in here. I can tell you know your form pretty well.
Subscribed.
cool stuff push em values in the sketches, and try to understand the lighting and reflections in your conceptual pieces
Wow, very nice rendering style !!!! and I love your sketches !!!!

In this drawing I can almost here the guy yell out. "This is my golden vase, I FOUND IT first! You can't have it, forest giant."

you have captured a good sense of light and form in your renders, especially in your first post. keep posting. good start!![]()
Hellooooooooo!
Enydimon- Sweet, thanks! My first subscriber, I am honored.
Krato- Thanks! I definitely feel like reflected/ambient lighting is something I kind of struggle with. Practice practice practice!
vayne108- Thanks!
Pigeonkill- Cool, thanks! If that is the case, then I guess I did an okay job.
Dr poPcoRN- Thanks!
Here's my thing for today. More progress on my giant monster dude. Need to push the values more like Krato said, some things are definitely getting lost in there.
Bam! I think this one looks a little better.
Working on my monster dude. Started to mess around with colors in Photoshop. Final is going to be in acrylic though since I really have no patience for finishing things digitally.
will be interesting to see the final acryllic of that piece. Keep up the good work mate![]()
Zilrion- Thanks!
Update for today.
Trolls! In a forest! Looking nasty!
Trolls. Still in a forest, still looking nasty.
yeah, the trools really look nasty. nice expressions and anatomy everywhere in your drawings. And I love it how you leave the white parts as highlights.
cheers
botho81-thanks!
Progress on a color rough for mr. beastmonster today
Oh that Troll one looks awesome, dude.
Keep it up!
Enydimon-Thanks!
Messing with colors on the trolls today. Still have some things to fix. This needs to be a finished acrylic painting by Monday.
Just some subway sketches today.
lol that guy needs an airplane or an abrams tank quick, i like how u did the giant monster it looks almost like it was disguised as a building and half buried under the earth. GJ
Jesus Food- Haha, thanks! An airplane would definitely help, I think a tank would probably just make it cranky though.
Some quick figure paintings from class for today, they were exercises in using very limited color (2 or 3 plus white). All oils. About 60 minutes each, I think.
you have some neat stuff just keep practicing!
nice work bro, pencil studies are great.
