Stuff from a sketchbook started last Tuesday or so. I was going to post a few of the pages from the one prior (admittedly mainly studies), but the pages when scanned were covered in those grey sections.
Pose Maniacs used for gestures.

Thanks ACRO. You've a good point about finished pieces; I don't think I've ever done one.
the still life is nice!
it looks pretty easy and stuff, but its great because u didnt use a lot of lines, which means u got all of the proportions right at first time! now push urself a little more and finish some stuff![]()

Thanks ajvenema.
i Love the way you use line, it gives it some sort of motion feel to it, very dynamic and loose.. there is alot of live to it.. very nice.
Thanks. Pity it's at the expense of proper anatomy, haha.

Bought some excessively cheap children's crayons and fibre tips from the supermarket to mess around with.
Since then.
Again.
The second image is from a photo I came across on google.

Thanks.
First digital in a looong time. From photo again.
The second image is again from a photo.
I'm not sure how I've managed to update three times today. Anyway, another study from a photo. I'd appreciate any crits whatsoever on anything here, seriously. Thanks a lot.
Ref from www.characterdesigns.com. I've always been awful at colour, but hopefully I'll remember to keep practicing, hah.

You have some nice work here. I really like your sketches of the puppies. You seem to capture their emotions in the sketches really well. Also your sketches of people are nice too. You do a good job on the faces. Also the last picture you posted is pretty good. I think the color is nice on that one.
Thanks Blue Star, I appreciate it.
Yesterday and today's stuff so far. I was looking at some of the artwork I posted here on my old account, I might go ahead and recreate one or two for the sake of comparison. Maybe.![]()
tons of studies are always a good thinglooking good so far - the real win for me with pages of studies is after a few months when i can compare the first pages with the last - usually improvement is there somewhere.
keep at it

That's true. I don't really mind doing studies either (as long as I remember), so it's all good. Thanks!
