What medium are you using in that last set of drawings?
Nice work all around with your strength definately being the sketches. I would love to see more of the cartoony stuff as well. The only real crit i have is to push the darks more in your colored peices. It seems there in the pencil stuff but not the finished. Keep post'n!!

    thanx guys!

@silvestri99: thanx, i'm using regular 2B pencil for those.... and yeah i agree with you that my colored pieces needs more contrast.... next time i'll keep that in mind

@Dile_: thank you for you comment, i'll try to do that...

Really nice start to a sketchbook, like your experiments with the pencil, Keep up the drawing, also draw from anatomy books if you have them, if you don't go out and pick a few, studies never hurt. I think studies really help push anyones understanding of nature futher. Drawing from Life does the same thing. keep up the good work.

You are making me a little jealous, what a cool start! The Eskimo guy is nice. Love to see these weird creatures too. For how long are you drawing? You are doing really clean lines.

    Hi Guys,

I'm posting after quite some ages. That doesn't I've improved any bit. Find it difficult to take out some time and draw. Anyhoo, I did some color studies. I'm looking forward to improve my brush strokes and overall quality. A lot of help from you all is needed.

    rip it apart:

Thanks for posting. Maybe in a couple of years I'll update my sketchbook too. I like your bizarre landscape with the low Sun angle. Perhaps you will take it further?

that last one is really good! i like how you worked out the light effect. very cinematic!
its also nice to see that you are not afraid of using a big brush, thats good! but make sure to keep the silhouete clean! for example in post nr10 the fiaces silhouette seems a bit mushy!

your color studies blow me away! nice work. are you using photos as references for anything or just painting from imagination?

@sourgasm: Thanks brotha! I'm glad you liked them. I checked your SB and found some pretty cool stuff there.

@Ricardo Robles: Thanks man. Yeah I'll try to post as much as possible.

@Katzenminze: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. About the silhouette, I'll keep an eye on that.

@Buddha Bear: Thank you. No I didn't use any photo reference on any of them, all came out of my head. A little experience with the camera helped a lot.

Here's a little F. Miller inspired doodle. Will post more color stuff later.

I think the colour choices are the thing I like the most in your sketchbook. Very harmonic. The bloody guys is teh worst image though. The body looks to flat. There should be more bones or muscle showing in certain places. A very nice start mate, keep it up!

    Cheers

    Update October 05, 09

    Hi Guys,
its been ages since I updated my sketchbook. I dont think I've improved much since I've been lazy and not been drawing at all. So I picked up the old habit and did some doodles here and there.

Here is a couple of random pages from mt sketchbook:
