We're a brother screenwriting team based in LA, and have written for many of the major American movie studios, including Warner Bros. (the studio behind Batman), Universal (Hellboy), 20th Century Fox (X Men), Miramax, and Dreamworks (Transformers). We've also worked with some of the biggest producers in town, including three Best Picture Oscar winners.
We're now going to enter the comic book/graphic novel space and are seeking artists to bring our words to life. We're very experienced storytellers, so you can definitely count on working with a high concept, compelling characters, and a sophisticated script. We're also used to collaborating with other writers, producers, directors, and studio executives, so we're decisive and easy to work with. And for the right artist, we can pay a nominal page rate, but this is a self-funded labor of love, so our budget is limited. Your most valuable compensation will be getting your art viewed by top creative executives and some of the biggest producers in Hollywood--and that kind of entree is invaluable if it's something you're interested in.
We have several concepts that we're developing, but they're all in the action, adventure, or sci-fi space--so you should feel comfortable working in an edgy, cool, muscular style. We require full-color illustrations (penciling, inking, coloring). The length of the initial project will likely be 22 pages plus cover art.
Please respond with appropriate samples of sequential art, either as attachments or via your website. We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks!
