Heey =) Spent most of the day in my sketchy =) Was fun =)

Zou - Yip, we had to write an essay (dissertation) on 3d/game topics. Some people failed and I think a few got like 50%'ish, so not bad considering, but I'm not exactly proud of my mark. Kinda frustrating to just miss a 1st =( Thank you for the compliment man, yip pretty much finished with it, was a quick study at like 3am to see how much I don't know =) I could finish it I guess =) Yip I agree with you on that, will practice more flow and do studies of the shoulder and hips =) Cheers man, you're pretty much spot on with the stuff =)

    Lightship69 - Thank you man, haha, it's cool! =)

fantasyartist - Thank you Swendly! =)

    jablar - Cheers man =)

Conny - Yip still alot of stuff I don't know about drawing.. jus got to keep practicing until it gets better =) Cheers for the encouragement man, really appreciate it =) =)

Ricardo Robles - Hey man =) I'm okaays =) I think =), I have to start back 3d next week, it's kinda crap cuz I'm really wanting to just draw you know.. =) Thank you for the feedback, yip Alex said the same thing, so I'll add a bit more light to the various areas. Cheers for that, really appreciate it =) Thx's for the feedback, will practice heads more! =)

kimozabbi - Hey man =) Haha, I'm glad you like that one, seems to be a hit! =) Cool man, yip I see the prob, will improve on that =) Cheers man =)

Your pencil drawing quality is slowly improving.
You just increase a bit of the breast sizes on
some of your studies. Visualize things larger.

nice work man. your values keep getting better all the time. my only crit would be is that in the easter bunny illu, you lose the hue variation you had after step 3. when you use a lot of layer modes you sometimes forget that you're supposed to keep introducing new colors into your painting all the time. other than that, keep up the good work!

Youve been hella busy since last time I was here some good looking studies good job on that cat The figure studies in #1452 are really nice, great form, be careful with your basic form though, one of your sketches in #1463 has the arms layed over the back, back comes over the arms if that makes sense (second sheet far right) the terminator lights can add a lot of realism and you did a really nice job of it on the top left figure of that sheet, keep it subtle

The 3D work is looking ace, still a ways to go as far as the figurative stuff is concerned, though.

I'm doing my graduation in History, and I'll be done with that soon. I'm thinking of pursuing post-graduation now, since I quite like History. Let's see where I go after that.

Nice practice with lighting on that reclining male figure. I also like this pic. Probably old, maybe I skipped a page back, but this one--> http://attachments.conceptart.org/fo...1&d=1328568432.

I think you could focus more on blind contour sketches, maybe people at cafes, or in scenery. I see you utilize the style of smooth lines-- for ex, in your roller skate sketch. That kind of line confidence can also come from blind contour exercises. And I noticed a lot of your lines are very organic- I think personally I found that to be a problem. It's a strong point when an artist can do that, but the flaw which I found from always having organic lines is that it's missing parts of accuracy that can only be attained from straight line utility. I realized that through much perspective study . And then I saw what loomis and other artists where saying when they talked about that 'straight to curve' function-- If you use 'quick straight lines' as oppose to smooth "flowy" lines all the time, then I think you will develop another level of confidence to gain more accuracy.

mechanical lines, to organic lines. You'll see how they develop, if you study artist sketches and how the sketch lines overlap and separate.

    Just my two cents... peace!!

Great stuff as always bro. Your 3d work is looking quite good. In you drawings you may want to use more overlapping lines to give them more depth, especially when dealing with foreshortening. Right now it seems you focus a little too much on the contours. Just my two cents. Keep it up!

    Heey =)

Managed to get a freelance job in animation, yaay! =) Done a few tests for the job and they liked them =)

Okay got a week left to work on all my 3d stuff.. for the life of me I can't figure out how to render stuff in 3ds Max.. the slightest change in a texture jus messes up/crashes, also hair and fur fx is pretty shit in Max, so I'm gonna render everything in Marmoset/UDK/Zbrush as it's more stable =) Here's my creature atm, about 75%'ish done =) Cheers =)

poetry man - Hey man, thank you for advice on my lines. Can see how str lines would give more accuracy. =) Most of the time I'm not aware of what lines I make, I jus draw.. Will practice straight lines in any case. Cheers man =)

zou - Cheers man, I'll take a look at the head size, thx's for that =)

fantasyartist - Hey man, thx's for the advice on overlaps, will practice =)

jablar - Thx's man, lol, glad you like them =)

You're doing great with your studies; especially awesome to see you doing so much with
3D already too. Your proportions are gradually improving still, though as poetry man said,
your lines are awesome, though aiming for straighter more accurate lines is where you
should focus now. Also, I think that you would benefit from more head and hand studies,
because I notice on your figures how you sometimes avoid drawing much for the hands,
etc. All in all you're doing a great job man, and I love seeing that improvement. Keep it up!

I see you're not around here as much as before...me too...but good to see your work over the last coupla pages since I last stopped by.

Digging your 3D schtuff and your drawings are always improving.

Like these sketches for example. Your lines are superb and you were using value well.

Your digital painting work is looking good...a man would hafta be crazy not to like this one. : ) (Right Sir Plissken?!)

Hope to see ya 'round these parts as often as you can make it!

Hey man, it's been a while. How are you doing?

Your 3D work is looking great as usual. Really liking the underwater (?) lighting, also the can. I don't know why you're worried about that. Maybe you might want to increase the speculars on it, though, to give it that moist just-out-of-the-freezer look?

I don't know, I'm really not any good at 3D modelling. Your lines, however, are looking strong. But I still feel like you need to start putting in that anatomy practice. Right now the biggest problem with your figures are that they kind of resemble rag dolls sometimes. And you need to understand how the skeleton works to get rid of that.

I hope that made any kind of sense. Just keep updating, and I'll try to drop by more often.
