Dude, it's been way too long since I've stopped by, but I'm glad to see that you are
making awesome improvement! Keep working on proportion and anatomy, as those are
the main weaknesses that I see, but I definitely see improvement in all areas.
Very inspiring mate, keep it up.
Hi,
Your latest portrait/figure in #1387 is looking good. I like the flesh tones, and the way you painted her eyes! I think the you should try to soften the upper lip a bit, it looks a bit cut out. Keep up the great work!
Please stop by my sketch book!

Cheers everyone =) Good luck for your aspirations, and Have a beautiful and happy year =)
nice work man! your grasp of color and value are improving tons. my only critique process-wise is to work "middle-out" when painting. for example, in the torso guy in your latest post, you started off with a good midtone but in the next step you went straight to the lightest lights and the darkest darks immediately. this may be a good method when you're studying photos but when doing works from imagination, you won't be able to judge your values accurately. my suggestion is to slowly work your way from the midtones, gradually adding lights and darks, with the absolute white and absolute darks added last (icing on the cake, if you will).
here's a link to show you what i mean:

hope this helps and keep up the good work!
great improvement, seems the pause you taken made you make a nice comeback.
proportions are better, strokes better, values ...
A star for the last one, strokes are greeeaaat
It's just way too magnificent and cool, how that dude
relaxes in a bed with his sexy looking underwear and a
beautiful look in his eyes. The way he body holds, one
can surely tell that he is a freshly baked newly melded fisherman.
He likes to fish in deep south salty lakes waters full of huge amoebas.
Your pencil skills are improving surely and strongly, just like an electric
moving stair rises in a Wallmart. Serenity on those faces can bee seen.
You did surprised the Sasquatch once again with a huge elbow to his back.
Disruption is in the air, and full flavored acidic mosquitoes will be served.
Hey man how you been?? I see you began 2012 with a good strenght! I loved that one of your latest pencil studies, and the digitals are growing more and more. Hope everything is ok, keep posting dude!![]()
Hi matey
Just swung by to see what you have been up to and I have to say that the lace on the boobies in the lace and clothing painting is spot on it just completes it somehow! either that or I'm even more of a perv than I thought which is possible. Either way good work that mate very good.
all the best matey

Your pencils are showing growth too...I especially liked this one>
The skull pages look really good as does the red study!

Can't wait for the Hobbit too. Read LOTR many many years ago...and loved the movies enough to buy both the theatrical version and the extended cut DVD's.

Sweet-tastic work!
You have surely felt the blaze of tendering power
through your hand as you kept drawing all those things.
Merciful deep frosted advanced glance as your improvements
started to dance. A drawing down, a drawing frown, your
drawings all day long. Magic broom, hectic fume
may your work serve as our final doom.
Wow, your latest stuff is incredible! You have a tiny bit of problem with the form but otherwise the stuff you show here is great! Keep it coming![]()
Heeeeey! =)
Sorry I haven't been updating much, had my midterms, teachers said I could get a first, and I'm on a 2:1 atm..
but I really want that fucking first =) Going to work 1000000000000000 million times harder now in 3d and UDK =)
Drawing when stuff is rendering =) Also watching an old movie called El Sol Del Membrillo (or Dream of Light),
it shows Antonio Lopez Garcia painting a quince tree, pretty interesting stuff,
couldn't be arsed to mess around with vhs so torrent it if you're interested.. =)
See you guys again soon =)

Yeah I see your proportions are definitely undergoing some improvement, and the 3D stuff is pretty awesome too. Keep it up; you're going in a good direction.
Great pencil studies and 3d stuff.. really making progress Ed
Hey Kunfoowiz, sorry for not dropping by earlier.
I can definitely tell that your pencil work is looking better. The lines are more confident now, and more importantly, the figures are starting to create authentic negative spaces.
The 3D work is good, but I think you can do more work on the materials. Also, the tone down the speculars on the floor slabs if you can. By that I mean just select something less 'white' for the specular lighting. The intensity can work if they are moist.
It's good to see you updating regularly, I should've dropped by earlier. Take care.
Oh, those 3D environments and renderings!
They are divine! Please tell me the software that you
are using for those. Tell me, tell me, please tell me quickly.
I want to try to create some amazing things myself.
Your improvements over the time became fantastic.
He-Man can feel the power around your house.
LtPlissken, if I'm not wrong, that would be the Unreal Development Kit. In short, UDK. It's a beast of a kit, very versatile, and it's also free to use, I believe.
See the kind of games that have been developed with it here:

And if it's a tutorial you want, start here and keep going:

Hope this helps.
Also, Kungfoowiz, I'm sorry for replying in your thread. If you feel this is inappropriate in any way, let me know; I'll delete my post right away.
Hey man, just stopping by here again.
I lovee that sketch of the sink man with the single lines. Do more of that stuff, looks awesome and really good for making you think bout how shit really is.
Also take a bit more care with your pencil rendering, someone said to me render an egg. Was pretty hard but that kind of stuff is good for getting your rendering more delicate.

your last post with a painting looks sick!its finally paying off man!sweet!
