Nice hands and hair studies. The arm ones need a bit more accuracy, though.
Zbrush sculptures can help you to get a better sense of volumes, great to see you´re doing them.
Also great to see you in the WASTED thread!

I agree with Ricardo, try and study some more arms, they're looking a bit odd.
But your lines are definitively improving!

    Hey Guys and Girlz! =)

Did more hands today.. could only manage a page though, more a battle of the mind than anything, My imagination needs tazoring.. it totally sucks! =)

Spending more time on every drawing though, but still need to slow down even more if I want to get the stuff looking better =)

Sorry it's not all roses and fairies atm =)

oooo improvement. I like. Please continue what you are doing.

Few crits though: Watch out for proportion. Watch out for muscles and how they form. Some of your muscles and the way they bend is a bit wonky.

But anyways, I see awesome improvement mate, can't wait to see you keep at it :3

    Hey Guys and Girlz! =)

Okay.. firstly I'm sorry it's only two pages tonight, I do have a still life as well, but that wasn't done today, it was made a few weeks ago, think I forgot to post it up, so it doesn't count for today's update really =)

The reason for only two drawings was cuz I was trying to learn some construction for the figure, and for a while I couldn't figure out why construction stiffens up my figures so much, and that's cuz my gesture is crap =) , so had a little think about it and realise I need to use just a few simple strokes to assess things like proportion, weighting and silho of the figure.. anyway so had to do some gesture first and then work in the construction from there.. hope that makes sense =)

Sorry my self portrait is so crap.. cheated my way through most of it.. so it's crap really, will have to work better than this.. See you guys tomorrow =)

Zou - Thank you Zou =) Need to shade the face better for sure, thank you for pushing me bro, need it all the time! =) Hope you are keeping up too! =)

Hücumkedi - Heyy bro! Long time =) I hope your exams went well and you passed =) Sure thing, I'll do some animal studies, I'd love to know more about horses, they are quite similar to us =) I wonder if your dad is well now too, will come check out your works soon =)

Alex Tooth - Cheers Alex! =) Loved your Digiart article btw, very inspiring for the future =) You are doing great too, keep up your amazing work! =)

Myst - Hey bro!!! =) Long timeeee =) Will check your stuff out soon =) Ah thanks bro =) Haha, need to get better though, yip, going to keep working on proportion until it doesn't look so wonky =) Thank you for keeping onto me, it's inspiring me to get better at it =)

Thanks Guys, have a great week and good luck for your works! =)

Heya, yeah gestures really help with figures! One should practise them everyday really, now if I onyl took my own advice

I like the lighting on the still life.

    Keep practising the self portraits!

    Hey Guys and Girlz! =)

    More drawing =)

Cloudcan - Thank you for the compliment, that means a lot to me =)) =) Hands from imagination, and some from Hogarth's Dynamic Anatomy =) Also work from life, taking my time for my lines, from a little mirror for faces and then a bigger body mirror =) Working toward remembering everything I see, I find working from mind to be very exciting and yet very scary at the same time, stuff doesn't always work out =) Okay, foosure, will look at some better legs =) Thank you for the feedback, muchly appreciated =)

with you on the imagination part! it's absolutely thrilling, the idea of physically envisioning and lay down something that doesn't exist yet allow it to exist in other people's minds .. (well that is if the art turns out good .. xD) that would be one of my ultimate goals in art.

I love how diverse your studies are, from hands to horse skeletons.. and I don't know what you changed but legs are already looking much better!
also may I ask, is that you in the last headshot portrait? :o

Those hands in pen look pretty cool, and those last anatomy sketchs of the figure have a nice 3d feel to them.

I think you should work on constructing the head/face some more, the eyes in particular look a little wide and big. Try doing tons of 5-10min lay-ins of the head, you should probably hold off on rendering just for a little bit until you get the construction down a little better.

    More practice, more progress!

Great studies. I would suggest with the head you try to think more about the structure of the head with the skull before you add hair so that you don't end up cutting off the skull prematurely. Keep up the good work.

Im really liking those hands from imagination and this last portrait is great too. One thing I would say is to watch the protrusion of the forehead. It looks like its coming out a little un-naturally far to me. But that is just a small proportional thing, the actual style of the hatching is top-notch. Keep on doing what you're doing!

Anatomy practise is looking good. Great to see you working hard man!

Face certainly has some proportion issues - I try very quick faces, like I did the "1000 face challenge" which was all 2-5min faces, this way you hammer in proportions quickly by repetition - this makes the longer poses muh easier to lay down the basics.
