Thanks guys I have to admit I like 202 too. Though to be honest it's pretty rare I get the chance to work suff up to that level. Took about 18 hours in all of solid graft. Trying to work on getting the message down quicker. I lov eto take a painting to conclusion though its not often I get too. Am I just repeating myself?..
Update on my seagod image and a doodle for this weeks CHOW lovecraft cultist. So busy with work at the mo, wish I could upload for you guys to crit it!
wooow I love the last one, hope to see the final piece!!!
wow!!! You have some amazing work here. The concept for the tree with the comb is seriously far out, really outside the box! Very impressive work!
Great job! Love everything.

sic-side-fx: Wow that's an oldie! Was my first ever CHOW! Not everyone appreciated it...
mike butkus: Holy crap man that's high praise indeed. You're one of my fav peeps on here!

yeah the seagod is turning out huge, really looking forward to see it finished.
keep it up!
Bit more for you Yor
Spent ages trying to sort composition. It's better though not completely happy. Crits?
I like it, but for someone who's the god of the seas he looks like he's standing in a puddle. I don't know.. the fact you can see his legs makes it look kinda odd. I wouldn't expect a sea god to have legs. Whatever he would have, maybe you should wrap him in a maelstrom of water!
Just a thought.![]()
I see your point though I was kinda going for the titanic wet beardy chap walking out of the sea to bitch slap some petulant mortals for not paying thier respects! Am not feeling very inspired today to be honest... Drank way too much black sambuca last night... Kill now...
Love your works especially those greyscale paintings, those brush strokes on your works is really great!i would love to see more finished works!=))

Here's a pitch I worked on a while back that didn't work out. I had two days to smash out some designs. It's a shame we didn't get it as I was just starting to get a feel for some comedy aliens... Oh well such is life...
Here's some Dr Who stuff. Had a day to knock out some designs for the silents, that again didn't get used in the end. There's a message in there somewhere I'm sureThe demons run one was used as a basis of rthe look of the matte painting and was great practice as I struggle with enviros
This is one I was working on for th elast series of Merlin a little dragon called a wyvern

These latest updates certainly differ from your usual greyscale paintings. I really the 2nd and 4th alien design + that wyvern looks superb. :]
your character designs are awesome man!
Here's some more older work this time for Primeval. I'm not that happy with a lot of it as I'm a bit more keen on drama and lighting these days, but it was a great learning experience all the same. And it's always interesting looking back at stuff
Beautiful animals, creaturs ... Great improvement. Keep up the hard work!
Wow man, these last couple of updates are like! I especially like the wyvern, The dinosaurs and the bug creatures are also totally awesome... well all of it is totally awesome haha, can't wait to see more!
I can't say enough about the more recent posts. You've turned a corner in your art. Really fantastic concept work.
Keep it up!

I wanna touch your creatures
kisch: Thanks mate
Mila: I was having a blast with those aliens. I think if I'd had a couple more days I could have really nailed the comedy aspect. Ah well
no87: You're too kind
matejkovacic: Thanks. It's nice to be able to show them at last, some of them are well over a year old
Divine: Thanks so much. I have to admit drawing creatures is my fav and always has been. Glad you like them
AWSullivan: Cheers mate, I can't wait till I can start uploading what I'm doing at the moment, feels like with every project I'm getting more confident
