Bit more and flopping to check for issues. May make the hero a bit larger in frame

Wow, that's a great piece. I like it flipped the way it is in your latest post. For some reason I get a sense of vertigo when the foreground's on the right side of the piece.

I also really like the Tarzan sketch on the previous page. Have you ever visited a river like that? Because it looks like you've seen them in the real world with the way you've rendered it, it's beautiful.

    It's coming along nicely.
Without the champion there, it feels like something is missing in that lower left area.
Also, some more colour would be nice, some brown here and there.

Great start Geb, but I must agree with Ricardo, that angle seems a little extreme for what looks to be a relatively calm scene. Great lighting effect within the torso though.

    Hallo Geb!
    Them chows looking sweet!
I'm a bit confused about the size of the Fire-donna though, first read was that she was a colossus but then the hero on those steps lead (almost) right up to her feet, without any scale indicator on the way. If you'll be going without the hero then maybe make the staircase steps alot smaller in size? Looking forward to the next updates!

oh man if you drop in a small human on the massive stairs like 1/4 the size of the original Hoplite it should give this piece an even more epoch scale( i think maybe, im not sure )

Nice piece! I agree with CrookedHorn. Those stairs are made for that giant! Also a fun story telling question perhaps. Is that guy you placed earlier there to defeat that big nasty armored man? The pose imo looks more as if he is waiting for his champion or something like that. He doesn't seem to be in a killing mood. Can't wait to see the next update!

edit: perhaps it's fun to use that big yellow spot in the middle of that guy as a spotlight shining on the other person.

All the recent stuff made me vomit rainbows (in the good way) . Defiantly try that new colouring approach more, it looks really promising, the different textures of the armor and skin are so well done. Really digging it.
