The old video game characters thread

Hi guys. I'm a really big fun of old arcade games, I've been in touch with them since my childhood, and I think they played a big role over my choice about what I'd like to do in my life, be a graphic artist. I love to play the old classics, like Pacman, Asteroids, Galaga, as well as the most recent games, like Darkstalkers, and Metal Slug series. I hate the idea that some day many historical games can sink into oblivion. Many of them were and still are inovative and have great ideas.

So I decide to make this little tribute to the games I always loved. The intention is to recreate the 2d sprites into new concepts, 2d or 3d. I hope to find some people here that remember these old classics too. They deserve their place on history forever.

I started doing Felicia and Jedah, from Darkstalkers, a great game. Crits and comments about modeling, gesture, etc are much welcome.

criminy! wow. . I don't know much about 3D though
Just wondering if the guys head is a bit too small, and the girls boobs look a little big and unnatural . The forearms also look extra large, but that looks intentional?

Thanks for your reply, dragonroseart . I'm posting some images of the original characters to make crits easy. But don't forget I'm trying to be more faithful to the game sprites than the anime models.

Felicia is looking nice, I think that she's just need a bit of work on feet and hands, they're looking too human still.

    Wonderful work
