before bedtime painting, probably gonna finish it tomorrow. was just about to go to bed, when decided to just draw like i want to, not to try with some other artist techique, but not to think and simply paint.

Studying color currently, my usual technique is: I copy a pic and then draw one from my mind, changing from only a bit to almost everything. In the bird pic I added arms and did different legs, but the snow creature, jeti, i made up myself, only pulling the previous color study from my head. Nothing fancy and rendered, only for memorising color.

I think it's great you're doing colour studies and they're looking good so far!
I know these aren't finished works but you haven't really finished a piece in your recent updates. But I just wanted to say that i prefer it more if you add more depth in your paints, so don't forget to give that attention when you're finishing something.

Some entries for a contest, first one i had already done some months ago but looked better than the one i had done, so decided to finish it too.

second one is crappy attempt to do something cool, but the creature is undefined, topis is "ancient sea creature", and color and lightning are pretty off too.
At least i practised underwater drawing and learned new things which i think is most important.

Just got a new camera, motherfuka.

The bigass Stich next to my portrait is my sister's, at nights its kinda scary, not kidding, he laughs at me constantly like a clown (silently) and stares me with his deep shark eyes. Just look at that thing's face, it's evil.

Great updates heix! especially liking the portrait on the last post but cant really tell what medium that is ? You always inspire me to try new attempts with PS man really liking your loose lines and stuff in the recent ones, cheers!

Stuff from SB, colored with marker pens and the PS guy is just a practice. I discovered that it's awesome to do a pencil picture and color the background with flat ,bright hue, color. In my opinion of course.

Thanks again Vritra, and you're totally right, I have done only a couple of fully rendered pics (if not only one), so should practice that. I feel that one is coming soon.

But so far, a WIP, the pen sketch is in a couple of posts back. Could really use some advice since I'm going to bring it to more finished form.

Edit: added 2. sketch, I do so much sketches because I don't feel comfortable when dont know how to paint with proper colors and stuff, so right now is massive study time.
