Very impressed! Your lines are great. Keep going, potential is just glowing in these, even if it's a - hmm - reddish glow, with all that blood!

Austen- thank you man, big time for that link!! i dont have very much experience with figure drawing, but i just started my first class for it in school. im pumped, very excited about that. ive always been a self tought artist, and always felt weird drwing people in public places. so my figure drawing is definately more stylised to compensate for that, but hopefully soon ill have some real figure studies to post up on here. thanks again for taking the time to look, and comment!

UnknownSketcher- hehehe. you had me hyped for a second. ps. your sketchbook just rocked my imagination.

Hahah, pretty cool shit! love the bisected soldiers head, and that screaming face in your most recent update is awesome. great character in your work.

Have you done any in depth anatomy/figure studies? If not, i suggest you download everything from this link and begin studying. http://processjunkie.blogspot.com/20...ooks-ever.html

Try starting with Loomis' 'Fun with a Pencil' and work your way up to George Bridgmans books.

Nice start to your sketchbook, I smell a ton of potential in here.

I look forward to more from you

Austen- ha, you noticed... i usually dont sketch 'whole' people because im not great at it. ill start trying to though, itll be a good way to force myself to focus on full bodies. (actually since reading your comment, it made me want to make these sillhouettes)

Idnorant- thanks man, i shall do.

trying some sillhouette workouts. i think this is the easiest way to construct the body, seeing it as a sillhouette usually makes mistakes jump out at you.

anyone remember Mimic from x-men like a long ass time ago?? i think they should bring him back, because there are soooo many new mutants he could look completely different. anyways, i wanted to draw him, he pretty much looks the same except for wolvies claws, and colossus' arms.

Nice. Maybe you forgot Beast...? LOL
Having is not the same as wanting. It is not logical but it is often true.

Dude, your art is wicked! I like the energy of it.

However, might I suggest studying a bit on body damage? (The dude who gets the top of his head lopped off should have more of a jagged tear, as Wolverive would have to make an L-shaped swipe and then swipe again to take it off) Unless, of course, that's a different guy, but then his head'd be ribbons!

But I love it, still. It's gritty, unique, edgy... everything I love in comic work. Keep it up!

Finally I got the time to review the older posts in my sketchbook,
and I realized that I have never returned you the favor. But now it
    is time.
You said that you are a big fan of anything brutal, so I guess that puts
us together in a very close perspective, and I think that we could get along
    real nicely in the future.
Right in the start of your sketchbook, I admire the mini comic book in post #3,
    you know the wolverine one.
Went all the pages through, and I have to admit that your work is
familiar to me, most probably I already browsed through it, I just did
not left any comment. Love your comic book style, fascinating, you
have very interesting subjects, and you are definitely not a boring artist.
Your overall improvement is great, your female figure drawings from earlier
are so great, you just pushed your work pace from May last year.
I just so in love with your zombie drawings paintings, especially in the post
#553. You're the man! #574-Robot Judge- Greeeatttt!!! Very inspirational
    paintings.
Well, that's it my mind just got blown away from your 25 pages of mayhem,
I have no more power to review any more sketchbooks today.
Nothing to crit, instead I would just like you to visit my sketchbook more
often and to share some knowledge and advices. Thanks in forth.
    Cheers!

devastacio - thanks man!! heres the final. gotta move on.

YihyoungLi - thanks man! the painting is mostly a creature design, so the bg is a secondary concern. i wanted the slug dragon to pop out. although now that i see it, i should have used a brighter greenish yellow color on the ground. that wouldve looked better i think.

    akkibox - thanks!!

    Pervy - thanks man!

alexson - thanks man, hehe yea it was for the last DSG.

LtPlissken - you sir, are the man! and i already returned the visit! but really thanks abunch for that comment! made my day!!

    ---------------

Slug Dragon - final.. could do more to it, but i gots to keep it mooovin!!!
