MY NEW ANIMATION - "BASEMENT"
Wait, IdiotApathy and Tom Scholes are the same person? What the hell is going on? This guy is an obvious rip-off. I'm reporting you to the higher authority of...Gorilla Artfare. Yeah.
Man, I've totally got nothing to say anymore. I've already commented on GA and linked your work on Facebook. You'll get the job and it'll be my link on FB that helps you land it. I'll be expecting my royalties any day now.
Love the work and I checked this thread again for the 5th time hoping you added new work. Tricked again. But your style and soft edges really make these paintings stand out and deliver emotions I haven't felt since that trip to Church camp. Man, those were awkward times.
Good luck and can't wait to jump back into your mentorship. I need to improve and you are massah!...er, master. Shit, coming from a black guy that is so wrong.![]()
love the colors
beautiful stuff man....reminds me of dreamscapes or smehting
love it man...ur very talented
Seriously brother, you're a poet. None gives me more chills than you with those incredible worlds.
Big respect.
I wish we were hiring here..
Tom!
These are just wonderful sir, awesome in the traditional sense, and in the widely used sense.
Good luck (what happened?)
C.
great works, I like your colour palettes. feels like a soft camera lens in some areas.
Beautiful paintings man. I told ya that in Dallas already...I love how your characters always turn away from the viewer.
your colors are such a trip man..beautehs, all of them![]()
Best of luck for the future Tom, but i have no doubt you'll find something great. You have so much to tell![]()
The trip to Acheron serie is absolutely stunning, and it shows you put so much of your soul in it. That's probably why i love it so. Hugs!

A Fine piece of art, giving a strange feeling.
Dreamy... way to go. Digs,

Instantly memorizable painting technique, the pieces have a very dream-like quality to them.
I love it.

You're the shit Tom... good luck on the hunt. If you don't find something quick, it certainly isn't for lack of skills.
Wow, i really love your work. Colours are so sweet and rich. You have a very sensible touch.

Those enviros are more alive then my charcters!!

Wow I really love the colour and impressionistic - ness ( if thats a word ) Especially the 2nd blue there with the vehicle that looks like a deep sea submersible.

Always think about:
lighting! design! perspective! proportion!
And (self)motivation is still everything.
You have such a unique and beautiful visual language. That's not to say that all of your work is stylistically homogeneous - far from it. But there are things you do with your work that I just don't see elsewhere. You're not just another excellent Mullins knock-off, but at the same time, your artistic fingerprints aren't so excessively unique that they lose their impact. I think a big part of it is the way you handle your colors...I can't figure out how you do it, honestly. Anyway, keep up the insanely good work, and thanks for being such an inspiration.
really unique style and beautiful work!
damn Tom, these are pretty killer. Thx for posting them at a proper size to print out and make love to.![]()
