Wait, IdiotApathy and Tom Scholes are the same person? What the hell is going on? This guy is an obvious rip-off. I'm reporting you to the higher authority of...Gorilla Artfare. Yeah.

Man, I've totally got nothing to say anymore. I've already commented on GA and linked your work on Facebook. You'll get the job and it'll be my link on FB that helps you land it. I'll be expecting my royalties any day now.

Love the work and I checked this thread again for the 5th time hoping you added new work. Tricked again. But your style and soft edges really make these paintings stand out and deliver emotions I haven't felt since that trip to Church camp. Man, those were awkward times.

Good luck and can't wait to jump back into your mentorship. I need to improve and you are massah!...er, master. Shit, coming from a black guy that is so wrong.

These are just wonderful sir, awesome in the traditional sense, and in the widely used sense.

    Good luck (what happened?)

Best of luck for the future Tom, but i have no doubt you'll find something great. You have so much to tell
The trip to Acheron serie is absolutely stunning, and it shows you put so much of your soul in it. That's probably why i love it so. Hugs!

Instantly memorizable painting technique, the pieces have a very dream-like quality to them.

    I love it.

naomiful: Hehe, thanks Naomi! How's your job been?

InvertedChalupa: Thanks Mike! And hell yes, let's get drank! First round is on me!

TonyH: Thanks Tony, very interesting insights! Glad you enjoyed the PSD's. I'll definitely have somethings more constructed or designed soon Cheers!

    Sublimus:
Hahaha god that is a little strange But I like it. Thanks!

    3bleadpencil: Thanks very much!

kira akira: Well thank you! My favorites as well!

sabin boykinov: Thanks for the kind words and the well wishing

humboldt squid: Whoaaaaaaaaah! Didn't know Rodger Dean, he's a badass! Thanks for the tip!

Alex Alexandrov: Thanks dude It's all photoshop, just one or two brushes and a round brush Thanks for wishing me luck

Oblio: Hey man, how have you been? Sad that I didn't see you in Dallas I am sure we will meet again

daveneale: Awwww, thanks so much! That's super flattering.

John Bridges: I think there are plenty enough jobs in the industry if you are good enough, the economy might be poor but I think the entertainment industry, though trimmed of fat is still healthy. Thanks for wishing me luck

Mock: Well hell yes That's great news! Party town!

mariusz: Thanks! Okay I will !!!

Stark: Yup, you figured me out! Damnit! Hehe, thanks for the linkage dude! I'll send your royalties asap. 'Fraid I haven't had time lately to paint for myself; been enjoying life outside of work you know? Hahah, christ - yeah calling a big white german dude your massah is more than a little awkward. I hope to have more time for mentoring soon. Cheers!

    barto: Well thank ya!

ZIP: Thank you kindly! Appreciate it!

Chupacabra: Thanks Kan, you've always been incredibly supportive and I love you for it. Hope all is well with you, we should exchange IM's.

pazur: Thanks very much Soft camera lens hmm? I like that.

Marko Djurdjvic: Aw hell Marko; you are too kind, really means a lot. Your comment about the character turning away from the viewer made me think quite a bit, in some ways it's a nice device to make the viewer feel that they are the ones looking perhaps... Thanks again! Hope you are well! Great new post!

    aaro n: Haha, thanks!

Clochette: Thanks so much Clo, I really feel like I've reached a small renaissance in a way. I can't wait to paint more and paint more of my soul

You have such a unique and beautiful visual language. That's not to say that all of your work is stylistically homogeneous - far from it. But there are things you do with your work that I just don't see elsewhere. You're not just another excellent Mullins knock-off, but at the same time, your artistic fingerprints aren't so excessively unique that they lose their impact. I think a big part of it is the way you handle your colors...I can't figure out how you do it, honestly. Anyway, keep up the insanely good work, and thanks for being such an inspiration.
