    Skertchberk

Brother, I forget how long I've been a member, now, but I wager I've spent enough time sitting on my arse, waffling around on the sidelines.

I don't plan on posting much of a backlog, because there's not much point in looking to the past when there isn't much of one to start with. I'm only hoping to go forward from here.

Thanks in advance for any critiques you feel compelled to offer. Trust me, there'll be plenty of opportunities.

    Peace out.

Figure a sketchbook would do better with some actual sketches.

    Long Overdue

Not much to update with this time. Just a page of long-overdue sketchbook work. Been busy, busy, busy with other things.

Awesome stuff! You seem to have a small problem with the farthest eye when doing the face in 3/4, but that can be easily solved. Other than that, great SB! Loving your colours and style.
    Keep it up!

    Obligatory Check-In

Time to get some older things out of the way that I never wound up posting here.

I'll make no excuses for my work. I need to work harder, practice more. Always.

Hey, good to have you back again, but how long will it last?? Heh, great updates though! You've got a great knack for expressive characters, i really like the white haired gal reading the book, lovely soft anatomy and popping colors.

Keep it up, and dont leave us alone so long this time

    Ludic, pixel cheetah: Thanks, guys.

Austen: Yeah, I'm afraid it's been a bit too long. I've been in the throes of game design and haven't made much time to post here. That has to change. I'm trying to take more time out to make things that don't have to stay under wraps.

I see greater facial variety in those elves, and I really love the outfit designs on them, but you tend to make the other eyes really round on the other characters though.

It's been a dreadfully long time. Between retail, concepting and directing art, I've had jack for spare time. Here're some lazy doodles and rough work that I've built up. Most of it is a mixture of pencil, ballpoint and Photoshop or Painter:
