me like your baelrog(if that was what it was called
)
WIth that armor and the heat he produces you would think his armor would be red hot..

maybe he s just warming up to kick gandalfs but
nice work but i don't like the composition
destruction by creation , creation by destruction
awesome dude!!!!!! loove the shadow+fire thing going on!
love it!!!!!!!!
:chug:
Wow, sweet, although i agree with Bustabustu, the armor should be blackened, and leaking head from the cracks. A little wotk and this could rock
I don't believe the book ever mentions him even wearing armor. (I could be wrong, though...it has been a while.) Although I think this is still an excellent effort here.
If it were my decision, I'd create a balrog that's closer to the description in the book. For one thing, Tolkien notes that the creature steps around the place silently, like a large cat...he wouldn't be nearly as uproarous or loud as they made him out to be in the film. (Not to say the film version wasn't cool, of course.) A more subtle take on the ancient evil of the balrog would be interesting to see.

Well, in the silmarrillion, gothmog lord of the balrogs was said to wear armor, so mabye....What i think would be cool, is a less tangible balrog, that hides within its cloud of darkness, and only stray beams of fire shoot out, untill it reveals its power...mmmm silent as a cat...on fire:p
