This is some great work!
Sickkkkk! This has to be one of the best enviro's I've seen in some time.
My god, I just had huge pangs of nostalgia when I saw earthworm Jim.
But anyways, those are some beautiful landscapes- I'd love to see some more from you soon!
Hey its been a while... ok a yearTIME for an update!
This one is a concept for school from while back, he is kinda a cross between an orangutan and one of those blue devils from yellow submarine
for some reason he appears to be missing his feet, no idea why.
quick sketch
Mmmh, wonderful french alps ! The glowing orangutanman (or whatever it is !) is cool !
Keep posting man, don't stop !

Hey guys thanks.
heres another one i did a while ago for chow that i forgot to put in here, its a redesign for the centaur in megaman.
Very cool stuff. That orangutan guy is freaky
That opening landscape was such a good choice...its got such a open calm feeling. I'd say its pretty much finish imo, maybe a little brush cleanup here and there. However you've managed to get some good depth in there without leaning on aymospheric. perspective too much.
If you're going to touch the orangutan piece, I'd say hes a little cramped due to the canvass edges and the centered pose...a little more breathing room and slightly more dynamic should give some some more lift to his attack!

My DeviantART & my Sketchbook.
hey thanks!
thought id get a quick sketch in before bed, really gotta start drawing more :|
I think the lighting was probably a bit too dim, but at least im not copying from photos for once haha .
Man, this stuff is so cool it makes the back of my head itch. Though I wish you had chosen to go with the badass lady gunslinging alchemist, even though I like the cartoony little guy.
Your environments are spectacular!
We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out.

thankyo bones, yeah i think i liked the lady concept more too although the cartoon one was a little more original so i decided to go with that.
heres another scribble from a photo picture :
i was going to carve out the castle a little more but im not so sure its worth it, so ill leave this as a quickie for now.
The floating island had a lot of good sfumato going on there, and I liked the stretches of moss/plant matter. That and the environments you painted below it. Sometimes it comes off as a little too preprocessed though, makes the paint look a lil cheap. I think you can find a good balance of texture and clean lines/paint if you want to.
