Heeeey Daz. Wow man, thank you. Yes, all hand rendered. The old-school caltex logo is a photo, a blur filter on the wheels and a soft light layer at about 30% opacity at the end. They're the only 3 "tricks", apart from your secret chalk brush that is of course available from your blog. Haha. Thanks so much for your post man. Hope you're doing well, catch up soon mate.

Hey, you said you would look back at my sketchbook. lol. Anyway, great updates. How did you get Magic Man to tutor you? It seems to be working. Great job with the last update.

P.S. Sorry about the loss of your friend. That really sounds awful.

Ok, this isn't funny anymore. Again, I disappear for a while, come back and see you ZOOOOMING past with your uber skills.

The way you rendered those animals is just crazy. I'm soooooo jealous.

    (Gimme more!)

    Hey people.

    Thanks jaqjaq
    Hey Kungfoowiz. Haha, thanks man.
Stop it snootchy. You're making me blush. Don't be gone too long.
Hi Vanaga. Haha, yes, a few simple steps. I have no real idea how many layers people generally use - I did that one with 45.
Hi Istamin. I had to convert to the Sith religion to get Magic Man to show me his ways. Now I have succumbed to the dark side. Thanks for commenting mate.
    Thanks NickyG.
    Thanks raminafshari.
    Haha, thanks kulka.

Anyways, I've been out of art action for a while so I got back in the groove with this quicky tonight. I bought a medical study skull ages ago and it's plan B every time I just wanna sketch somthing from life.

Hey Jigje!. I keep PM'ing you but they keep disappearing. Usually I can see my reply.
I'm going to assume you're getting duplicate messages and it's just a glitch but I didn't want you to think I wasn't answering so I thought I'd post here too. Let me know if you got 'em. Thanks!!

Its been a while, i visited here, really nice update, I would suggest you to paint the background concurrently when you are painting your subject, As the colors get shades from other local colors you already know this just try it.
    keep sharing
