Sick flat shapes, really nice tonal relationships.

We're gonna need to see some step by step progression here .

    Greenhouse: Thank you very much.

    Vermis: Thanks a ton!

    matejkovacic: Thanks!

    ~Twig: Thanks!

Quigleyer: Thanks man. I'll try to remember to save the steps on something. I'm using a very basic process, for the most part; just a rough line drawing, then a black and white value pass, then some color and soft light layers to glaze on color, and then painting on top opaquely. Nothing special, really.

    Forrest_I: Thanks v much!

Somelar: Ha, yes, I share your love of bubble cities. Thanks a ton.

andres333: Yeah, man, just drink lots of water and stretch those ligaments regularly, and your wrist will heal up. Then you can return to making me jealous of your figure drawing skills. So, uh, no rush.

Here's a quick speedpaint and a colored version of a sketch from a couple posts back.

Bit of a n00b question but wanted to know how exactly do you render your value so cleanly? Its just I use low opacity to make my values blend together better but they always turn out quite 'muddy' and I'd like it to look a lot more clean. Excellent work btw
